   Summary

   I saw Portrait of a Lady on Fire a week ago and I have not been able to stop thinking about. It's one of, if not the best, movies I've ever seen. I don't know how I hadn't seen it, because I watched Céline Sciamma's first two movies when I was taking French in college and adored them.

   Anyway, here's the epilogue to Héloïse and Marianne's story that I wish we had gotten. I saw a picture that someone made of Marianne included in the portrait of Héloïse and her daughter, and I knew I wanted to write a story about a family they created for themselves (with Sophie included, of course!).
