Bakugou tapped his desk as he looked at the classroom's clock. There were only five minutes left before class started, and his best friend was nowhere to be found.
"She'll arrive, just be patient."
Bakugou snapped a look at the boy sitting at his side. Kirishima was his name, he thought.
"Class will start in five minutes, Shitty Hair! If she arrives late on her first day on the Hero Course-"
"Oh my All Might, look at that!"
Everybody turned around and saw a peculiar entity emerging out of the wall next to Bakugou and Kirishima.
A girl with long, messy green hair, nerdy glasses, and, as Mineta apparently felt was necessary to point out, a curvaceous body.
"Midoriya-chan!" Mineta chirped as he leaped towards her. "I was so worried you wouldn't come!"
As soon as she finished emerging, Midoriya was immediately swallowed by the ground, causing Mineta to hit the wall.
She then emerged from the ground next to Kirishima, and sat on her desk.
"I know you just transferred here, but you should be a bit more punctual, Midoriya-san," Kirishima said with a gentle smile. "Bakugou-kun even got worried for you."
"I was just wondering what the hell was taking her so long!" Bakugou snapped. "I mean, you can practically teleport! What the hell's your excuse!?"
Midoriya yawned, and a short silence followed as Bakugou connected the dots.
"You fell asleep, didn't you?"
Midoriya paused... then gently nudged herself while smiling and sticking out her tongue.
Saki Midoriya! Quirk: Emergence! She can emerge from any location, so long as she has a destination in mind!
