To say the physical portion of the entrance exam had gone from zero to a hundred would be an understatement.
Midoriya managed to handle himself across the initial part: just shoot some energy blasts at the robots until they explode.
However, then a giant robot the size of a skycraper emerged from the ground, and everything turned into chaos.
Especially when he saw the robot reaching for a girl stuck under rubble. He was too far away to get her, even if he ran... but then he remembered the earrings he wore, and got an idea.
He took one off, and threw it to the girl, who caught it with ease.
"Put that on your left ear!"
The girl hastily obliged. "Like this?!"
The earrings began to glow as Midoriya stopped.
"Perfect!"
Without warning, the girl was removed from the rubble and flew towards Midoriya, the two merging once they clashed with each other.
The resulting entity had a mix between the girl's bob cut and Midoriya's messy hair, with a mix of their tracksuits to boot.
"Alright! Now, to deal with the robot-"
But as soon as they looked up, they saw the robot's head contorting as an intense gust of wind struck it.
And then a faint figure began falling, becoming clearer and clearer as the fusion realized if nothing was done, they'd die.
They immediately extended their hand forward, and grabbed the falling applicant just in time.
"Gotcha!"
The applicant turned around, and raised an eyebrow as they asked:
"Who are you?"
The fusion opened their mouth... then slowly closed it, scratching their head with a sheepish smile as they confessed:
"It's complicated."
Izuku Midoriya! Quirk: Potara! He can transform any pair of earrings into potara rings, which when worn on opposite ears allows him to fuse with someone else! However, unless the energy is depleted, the fusion lasts an hour without a way to speed up the process!
