A bright white light shined ahead as Shadow teleported meters ahead alongside his motorcycle, leaving the hedgehog in the dust as Sonic recovered on the pavement.
“Bah!- C’mon, you can even teleport alongside your ride?” Sonic complained, preparing to stand up yet again until a certain sound from behind him perked his ears.
“...I mean, it’s not the same, but-”

Or to put it shortly, Sonic gets a small idea in the middle of his chase with Shadow in the streets of Shibuya. (He'll apologise about it later... probably?)

Strangely enough, not everyone seems to be quite as they should be either.

"I'm looking, dear! And I'm taking pictures!" Momo followed the sound and saw a woman who looked just like Kyouka pointing her phone at the two of them.

The link was to an unlisted youtube video with less than a thousand views. In it, Momo recognized Kyouka's mother, now looking much more like the woman she had seen at the festival, including wearing her glasses. Unlike now, however, she looked exhausted. "Hey, people. So, uh, I'm currently in a hotel room because I wanna murder my fucking kid."
