In the late 2000s, Greg Keyes wrote a duology of books in the Elder Scrolls setting. They felt incomplete, but a young superfan enjoyed them in the wait for Skyrim and had the imagination to see that the core of the story was cooler than the fandom gave it credit for.
In the present, a middle-aged superfan with a mostly-broken laptop wants to practice getting back into writing.
This is not a claim that I think I'm a better writer than Greg Keyes, or even that he did anything wrong, and more as a separate work in conversation with his, taking the potential I see in it as a TES superfan, dedicating time I believe he was not given, implementing lore that was not created or not known at the time he was writing and acknowledging that the task of recreationally rewriting or re-fleshing the skeleton of his story is way easier than coming up with the thing from whole cloth while under financial pressure to do it as your job.

The living dead meets the dying life.

But one thing is sure–Everything happens for a reason. Whether good nor bad. That was something that Kallista understood after meeting Kyro, the boy she never thought she’ll ever encounter. However, they were polar opposites of each other. But they need each other to save themselves from drowning in the depths of their own dark lives. Their little meetings at the bridge beneath the stars gives them the peace and tranquility that they’ve been longing for.
Will the two of them be able to change each other’s lives or destroy it instead? Will they still stay together even the waves of life become more unbearable? Will there be a BRIDGE that will help them cross the depths of the darkness and reach the light? Or will they fall into the abyss of chaos and suffering that was destined for them since the beginning?

A surge in flu cases could be brushed off, but the riots that flickered across the country left a bad taste in the teen's mouths.
They soon realize that things are far worse than they could've possibly imagined. How everything happened and how they deal with it, is up to the will of fate and the dice that controls it.Or
