"No." Bakugou said immediately in response to the suggestion
He and the Bakusquad, minus Ashido, were chilling in Sero's room and discussing what they would be doing for the school festival that was coming up. The class was in their third year of high school and they decided to do separate things in smaller groups because they couldn't decide on what to do together this time. Aizawa agreed, courtesy of the author's influence on him.
"What? C'mon man." Kirishima frowned, looking at the other with big pleading eyes
"I said no! I ain't doin' it." Bakugou retorted gruffly as he crossed his arms
This was the last school festival they would be participating in and the blonde was not going to completely humiliate himself by doing that stupid idea. He absolutely refuses to waver on it.
"But you'll get to serenade Midoribro." Kirishima grinned, elbowing the other to try and entice him
"Don't. Care." Bakugou crossed his arms, whipping his head to the side
Sero butted in, feeling a little frustrated because they have gone through like a million ideas and the ash blonde has rejected them all. This was their last one.
"Look, we have to do something for the festival and everyone has to be in groups, you're with us so we picked this."
"Singin' a dumbass American song from the nineties?" Bakugou frowned
"Yep." Kaminari nodded promptly, but the raven haired guy butted in again
"It's a good song!" Sero defended the boy band
Kirishima placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Just hear us out okay?"
Bakugou sighed. He feels only slightly bad for rejecting so many of their ideas, but they have nothing left and all the other ideas were way worse. Especially one of Kaminari's ideas, which was that they should do a Magic Mike thing. Bakugou hard passed on that one.
"Fine, but if I don't like it after a few tries, we're doin' somethin' else." He always gave in to them as much as he didn't want to admit it
"I don't think we will." Sero grinned
Bakugou narrowed his eyes at the other.
"We'll see about that." He replied
Sero then started to explain his plan fully like he had meant to do before but Bakugou cut him off. After giving the blonde more details, he reluctantly agreed to do the idea. Kirishima and the others cheered as he clung his arm around Bakugou's shoulders only to then be shoved off by the grumbling blonde.
"So are we gonna get our outfits tomorrow?" Kaminari asked the group after they settled down
Kirishima nodded.
"Yeah, then we can hammer out the choreography with the help of Mina."
"You think she'll help us?" Sero asked, raising a thin black brow
Kaminari nodded.
"Yeah, dude. None of us knows how to dance as well as her so she'll take pity on us." He laughed lightly
"It's not that hard." Bakugou scoffed with a roll of his eyes as he slouched on the green bean bag chair
Sero shook his head.
"Of course you can dance, is there anything you can't do?" He questioned the other
"Can't ask Midoriya on a date." Kaminari snickered
Rage that Bakugou hadn't felt in a long time, it's been a week, flooded his veins as he stood up immediately.
"Shut the hell up! I'll kill you!" Bakugou shouted with a deadly hand making threateningly small explosions
Kirishima calmed the still hot headed blonde down so they could get back on track. The next day, much to Bakugou's dismay, they headed to the mall and picked their outfits. They were ugly in his opinion but they all agreed on it so it is what it is now. Soon, the group started preparing for the festival that would take place in two weeks.

"Up next sisters, bros, and nonbinary folks is the "Bakusquad!" Present Mic announced, as enthusiastic as always
The lights dimmed as the crowd started to die down waiting to hear the performers. Suddenly, four bright lights flicked on overhead and illuminated the members dressed in all white suits on the stage as the music started to play. The crowd could only see their backs and had to decipher who was who by hair color and style. Eventually, it was obvious that in order from right to left was Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, then Bakugou. Class A was confused because the boys kept what they were doing pretty secret and Ashido and Jirou refused to tell anyone. They were completely surprised when the music started playing.
The redhead was the first to turn around with the snap of his fingers to keep time.
"Close your eyes, make a wish and blow out the candlelight. For tonight is just your night. We're gonna celebrate, all through the night." He sang smooth, even with the sligh, gruffness of his voice
Kaminari swiftly turned around, looking over the crowd when Kirishima stopped at the end of his part.
"Pour the wine, light the fire. Girl, your wish is my command. I submit to your demands. I will do anything, girl, you need only ask." He bowed
Bakugou and Sero finally turned around to be met with cheers from the crowd as they continued.
Kirishima walked across the stage, light following him to Uraraka, Ashido, and Hagakure who we're together by the front of the stage. The other three dances together.
"I'll make love to you, like you want me to and I'll hold you tight. Baby, all through the night." They sang together as the redhead held out as hand for Ashido to grab
She quickly grabbed it, clearly trying not to scream her fangirl head off, and was hauled up on stage with him.
"I'll make love to you. When you want me to and I will not let go 'til you tell me to." They sang in unison as Kirishima started slow dancing with Ashido
She was smiling brightly with her arms around his neck lazily obviously enjoying their cliché but romantic moment.
Sero stepped forward for his solo while Kaminari and Bakugou continued the routine and Kirishima was still slow dancing with Ashido.
"Girl, relax, let's go slow. I ain't got nowhere to go. I'm just gonna concentrate on you." He pointed to the crowd which caused cheers to erupt
"Girl, are you ready? It's gonna be a long night. Throw your clothes." The raven haired guy sang
"Throw your clothes." Kaminari and Bakugou repeated
"On the floor." Sero said
"On the floor." The two blondes echoed again as the three of them then slid off their white blazers and tossed them to the side
Ashido helped Kirishima with his, which made people whistle at them.
"I'm gonna take my clothes off, too
I've made plans to be within you." Sero finished his part
Kaminari stepped forward with the taller and the two made their way to the side of the stage to where Yaoyorozu, Jirou, and Todoroki were. Bakugou danced the choreography alone in the same spot he's been in.
"Girl, whatever you ask me, you know, I could do!" The electric blonde sang enthusiastically as he held out his hand for Jirou and Sero held out his hand for Todoroki
The girl and two tone haired guy were completely stunned so Yaoyorozu pushed the two forward, urging them to go. After they took the other two's hands, they were helped up on stage too.
Once again, cheers erupted as three couples started slow dancing while the group in white sang in unison.
"I'll make love to you. Like you want me to and I'll hold you tight. Baby, all through the night."
The crowd started to whisper about who Bakugou would be bringing on stage. Then, not really to the surprise of anyone, he walked forward from the group to the very front and center of the stage while the light followed him and the others were dimmed just a bit. Shinsou, Iida, and Midoriya were there together watching only their eyes widened when the blonde approached them.
"I'll make love to you, when you want me to, and I will not let go 'til you tell me to." He held out his hand for Midoriya as he continued to sing with the others
Midoriya blushed brightly but there was a sparkle in his eyes as he took his hand with a wobbly smile. The blonde pulled him onto stage and placed his hands on Midoriya's waist while the smaller put his hands on Bakugou's shoulder. Midoriya wasn't a good dancer so he would have to follow Bakugou's lead who was already doing a great job of doing so. Both of their hearts were pounding, but Bakugou felt like his was going to thump out of his chest because his solo was coming up. He quickly braced himself as those comforting and supportive green eyes looked right at him like they were the only two people in the world.
"Baby, tonight is your night and I will do you right
Just make a wish on your night. Anything that you ask, I will give you the love of your life, your life, your life." Bakugou sang with all he had lifting a hand up to caress Midoriya cheek
The four groups of two swayed back and forth on different parts of the stage as a spot light illuminated each of them.
"I'll make love to you." Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero sang
"I'll make love." Bakugou added
"Like you want me to and I'll hold you tight." The three said
"Hold you tight." Bakugou echoed
"Baby, all through the night." They each pulled their partner closer
Jirou blushed and wacked Kaminari's shoulder because his hand moved a little too low, he just smiled though. Todoroki looked to the side for a moment, then back at Sero with a small blush on his pale cheeks. Ashido carded her fingers through the hair at Kirishima's nape that weren't stiff with hair gel and hairspray, it made him blush. Midoriya gasped on the other hand, blushed even brighter as Bakugou smirked.
"I'll make love to you." Kaminari, Sero, and Kirishima sang in unison to their partners
"I'll make love." Bakugou said slow like in the song so their singing overlapped
The three continued.
"When you want me to and I-"
"Will not let go til you tell me to." Bakugou chimed in with the others
"I'll make love to you." They sang together
"I'll make love." Kaminari echoed this time
"Like you want me to and I'll hold you tight." Sero, Kirishima, and Bakugou sang
"Hold you tight." Kaminari drew out the words
"Baby, all through the night. I'll make love to you." The group said in unison
"I'll make love." Kirishima sang making it overlap again
"When you want me to and I-
"Will not let go 'til you tell me to." Kirishima sang with the others
"Tell me to, tell me baby." Sero bellowed out which surprised everyone
They finished the song and as the music faded with the four groups still dancing, the lights dimmed until they were off. It left the crowd to cheer and holler for the Bakusquad. in the dark of the stage, Midoriya surged forward kissing Bakugou, clacking their teeth together.
"Ugh Deku!" The blonde frowned, covering his mouth, thankful that the microphone was no longer on
Bakugou took it off anyway as he headed towards the stairs with the others and had the smaller in tow since he had grabbed his hand.
"Sorry, Kacchan!" Midoriya said shyly and clearly embarrassed even though his face was barely noticeable in the dark
Some flowers and underwear were thrown on stage while they walked off and Bakugou sighed until he spotted a pair of red ones on the first step. He picked up a red pair with a disgusted look then glanced at Midoriya who was still red in the face after their failed first kiss. They were standing in the little area between the stand and the hallway that led to backstage.
"Oi Deku, think you'd wear a pair of these if I got 'em for ya?" He smirked, spinning them around his finger
Midoriya blushed hard.
"Kacchan!" Midoriya squawked
"Just teasin'." Bakugou rolled his eyes as he let the underwear fly off his finger
"Bakubro c'mon we gotta get backstage." Kirishima said as the others were already heading off
"Wanna come with?" Bakugou asked the smaller
Midoriya nodded.
"Sure, not really interested in whomever is performing next." He shrugged sheepishly
Bakugou only grinned.
"Good." The taller replied and walked towards the back
Once in the back and after Bakugou gave his blazer to Sero, Midoriya suggested they just head back to the dorms. The blonde absolutely agreed because he's had enough of being in public for the day. He could tell Midoriya was acting strange but isn't sure why. Maybe it was because he hadn't addressed what happened. That would be valid. Midoriya had a habit of overthinking way too much.
"Kacchan?" Midoriya said as they entered Bakugou's room
The smaller didn't even realize that's where they had gone since he was too deep into his own thoughts. He was led to the bed so he sat down but looked around the room. He's been there a few times but not as often as Bakugou's been to his room.
"What?" The taller asked as he went to grab a change if clothes
"I uh, I love you!" Midoriya blurted then covered his mouth in embarrassment
Bakugou snorted, feeling a little flustered.
"Yeah, I got that, after ya nearly knocked my fuckin' teeth out." He said while undoing his thin belt
Midoriya averted his eyes to give the other some privacy.
"Um, then can I have a retry? I... promise I'll be more careful this time." He said as he heard the sliding closet door shut
Then he felt a hand on the side of his face which made his hands snap up to the shirtless blonde.
"Your wish is my command. I submit to your demands. I will do anything, boy, you need only ask." Bakugou sang, looking into his green eyes
Midoriya smiled, blush tinting his cheeks.
"Who knew Kacchan could sing?" He let out a light laugh
"I did." Bakugou rolled his eyes as he sat next to the other
Midoriya sighed thoughtfully.
"You're good at everything." He said, cupping Bakugou's with his hand this time
"You can add "boyfriend" to that list of "good at everything." Bakugou smirked as he placed his hand over the other's
Midoriya's eyes went wide.
"Really? You wanna be-"
Bakugou frowned, pulling his hand away and intertwining their fingers.
"Duh, idiot. What the hell did ya think that was out there?" He pointed to his door obviously referring to the concert
Midoriya blinked then realization hit him like a truck that Isekaied the main character of a fantasy manga.
"Kacchan, you were confessing to me?" He asked, sounding baffled
Bakugou scoffed, letting go of the smaller's hand to cross his arms.
"You shitty Nerd, of course I was!" He huffed then looked down pensively
"I ain't good with words so I just sang ones that were already written." The blonde grumbled
"Kacchan... that's... that's so sweet." Midoriya said, tearing up with a wobbly smile
Bakugou sighed, uncrossing his arms.
"Don't cry, Deku." He told him as he reached out and used his thumbs to gently wipe said tears away
Midoriya sniffled, but nodded.
"I'm sorry it's just... I've loved you for so long. I thought you would never even like me back." He confessed
Bakugou lifted his face just a bit as he looked right into the smaller's round eyes.
"Well I do. So as long as you'll have me, I'll always be by your side, Izuku." He said quietly, almost in a whisper as if he only wanted Midoriya to hear it
Midoriya smiled again and giggled happily.
"I believe you, Kacchan." He nodded
He then glanced away shyly.
"But would you make love to me?" He asked cheekily
Bakugou only rolled his eyes then smirked.
"Like you want me to." He told him then leaned forward for a sweet kiss against those plush dark pink lips
