Chiron has decided that a trip to Camp Jupiter would be nice, and so when this was approved, the 7, including Nico, and Reyna decided to have a movie night after all the activities, naturally, Nico also dragged Will into this.
The group was in Frank’s praetor villa arguing as to what movie they should watch. Percy raised his hands, “Some action movies would be nice, like I don’t know, maybe an Avenger movie.”
Jason scoffed, “Don’t you think we had too much action in our life already? How about something different, maybe a horror movie?” He then looked at Nico for backup.
Nico shrugged, “Horror movies are boring, they're unrealistic and they don’t scare me at all.”
Leo chuckled at this, “Easy for you to say Lord of Darkness.”
Nico huffed, “I’m just stating my opinions.”
Piper then chimed in, “What do you think we should watch then?”
Nico sighed, “Well, seeing as our choices is a horror movie or an avenger movie, then, unfortunately, I have to side with Percy on this.”
Percy smiled smugly from across the room then faced Jason, “See? Even our little bro agrees with me.”
Jason pouted at Nico, “How could you?”
Nico crossed his arms, “Oh shut it you two.”
Hazel cleared her throat sweetly, “Why don’t we just watch something lighthearted, like a romcom.”
Frank nodded beside her, “I agree with Hazel.”
Piper cooed, “Aww! You two really are a perfect couple! Sorry though, but I have to disagree with you for I crave some action too, sooo, I’m with Perce here.”
Jason then pouted at her, “Not you too!”
Piper chuckled, “Sorry Jase, but Nico’s right, horror movies are kinda corny.”
Jason huffed as Annabeth raised her hand, “Actually, I wouldn’t mind a good horror movie.”
Percy looked at Annabeth with eyes wide, “How dare you betray me?”
Annabeth rolled her eyes, “No need to be dramatic seaweed brain. Plus, this whole movie night idea was Jason’s so, it’s only right that he gets to choose.”
Jason stuck out a tongue towards Percy, before Percy could respond though, Reyna also spoke up, “I’m with Annabeth and Jason here, it would be nice to see some of you scared and scream at jump scares. Who knows? Maybe Nico would scream too!”
Nico glared at her, “Oh please.”
Leo then laughed, “As much as I want to see Nico scream for his life, I actually may get embarrassed from watching a horror movie, so I’ll side with the lighthearted bunch and get some romcom on.”
Hazel smiled at him, “Thanks Leo.”
Annabeth then clasped her hands together, “So that’s Piper, Percy, and Nico for Avengers. Jason, Me, and Reyna for Horror. Leo, Frank, and Hazel for Romcoms.” She then turned seriously to Will, “The movie we're gonna watch tonight relies on you. Choose wisely.”
Everyone then faced Will with all seriousness. Honestly? He didn’t really wanna anger anyone in this room, but looks like that’s unavoidable now. Nico grabbed Will’s hand then squeezed it reassuringly.
Will sighed then looked around, “As much as I wanna see Nico scream too, I can’t choose horror because heck! I’ll be the one screaming.”
Nico chuckled at this, “I would’ve pushed you away if you did.”
Will rolled his eyes, “And I don’t want that.”
Percy then grinned at him, “Avenger or Romcom, what would it be?”
Will sighed, “You know if I were really to choose, I would’ve gone with Star Wars, but to see that I’m outnumbered, I gotta say, Avengers, because me and Nico just watched a Romcom the other night, and also because Nico voted for Avengers.”
Nico grinned at Will then kissed him on the cheek, “You chose well.”
Piper cooed, “Ooooh, you two watch Romcom movies together, I see.” Everyone then joined her in teasing them which made the two boys blush.
Once everyone had settled and voted for what Avenger movie they would watch (they ended up with Avenger’s Endgame) the group started to fix their positions. Reyna was on the couch with Leo, Piper and Jason. Piper and Jason were wrapped on a blanket, cuddled together on one side, while Leo kept annoying Reyna on the other.
Reyna huffed, “Why isn’t your girlfriend here again?”
Leo sighed, “We had a little bit of a fight.”
Reyna rolled her eyes, “That’s not hard to believe.”
Leo sighed, “I can be quite annoying, huh?”
Reyna’s expression softened, “Yeah, but you’re also a good guy, and I’m sure you two would fix up whatever fight you got into this time. Besides, Leo Valdez can fix anything, right?”
Leo smiled sadly then nodded, “Thanks, I needed that. I just hoped people are as easy as machines.”
Reyna nodded, “You'll figure something out. Now, please stop annoying me and focus on the movie.”
Leo chuckled then faced the screen, “Alright then.”
The rest sat on the floor. Percy and Annabeth were on the right side of the floor below the couch. Percy had an arm around Annabeth while Annabeth leaned on his shoulder. Hazel and Frank were on the other side of the floor, Hazel was sitting on Frank’s lap as Frank had his arms around her. In the middle of the two couples was Will sitting cross-legged as Nico laid down on his lap while Will played with the son of Hades' hair.
Nico huffed, “If you kept going, I’m gonna fall asleep.”
Will chuckled, “Sorry, sorry, I’ll stop.”
Nico shook his head, “Keep going, please.”
Will chuckled again, “Alright then, love.”
Nico smiled as he turned his attention back to the screen, “In case I fall asleep, wake me up when Wanda faces off with Thanos alone.”
Will smiled, “You like her character a lot, huh?”
Nico nodded, still facing the screen, “I sympathize with her. I understand her grief, and felt the rejection and how people made her feel like she didn’t belong, especially after she accidentally blew up that building.”
Will nodded in understanding, “I could see her in you.”
Nico then faced Will with a small smile, “Our situations are kinda alike, huh?”
Will smiled as he kept playing with Nico’s hair, “Yeah. Luckily she found Vision.”
Nico's eyes furrowed, “That’s definitely our only difference. She lost her Vision to Thanos, I hope the same doesn't happen to me.”
Will smiled, “Don’t worry, you won’t lose me to anyone. I know you’ll protect me no matter what.”
Nico gave him a sad smile, “Wanda protected him too…”
Will then kissed Nico’s forehead, “ Don't think that way. We can be different. Your situations are similar, but they don’t have to be a hundred percent similar.”
Nico nodded then smirked, “Did you just assume you’re my Vision?”
Will rolled his eyes, “Who else would it be?”
Nico chuckled then smirked, “Percy, or maybe Jason or oooh, Frank! It could even be Leo!”
Will gasped as he dramatically held his chest, “Ouch, that’s gonna leave a mark.”
Nico rolled his eyes, then lifted his head to kiss Will softly on the lips, “I’m kidding, of course it’s you, dork!” Will chuckled as the two then went back into watching the movie. Will was still playing with Nico’s hair. He didn’t even notice Nico had fallen asleep until Percy pointed it out from beside him at the scene where Hulk had finally snapped his fingers while wearing the gauntlet.
Percy chuckled, “Man, your boyfriend’s asleep, better wake him up before he misses the best parts.”
Will smiled, “I will, not now, but later.”
Percy nodded then went back to watching the movie. Will then stared at his boyfriend peacefully sleeping in awe. Gods, I love this boy so much. He blushed at his own thoughts then went back to the movie. Once Hawkeye passed the gauntlet to Black Panther, Will slowly began to wake Nico up. “Hey, your favorite scene is coming up.”
Nico slowly fluttered his eyes open then looked at the screen just as Wanda put herself in between the Black Panther and Thanos. When Wanda said “I will” Nico grinned then faced Will, “She’s so badass.”
Will chuckled, “Just like you.”
Nico hummed in agreement then continued watching. Apparently, after Wanda’s scenes the son of Hades fell asleep again. Once the movie ended, the others began to notice that Nico was asleep.
Piper swooned, “Aww, that’s so cute.”
Jason hummed in agreement, “He’s sleeping so peacefully, that’s a rare sight.”
Hazel smiled at Will, “Looks like you chase the nightmares away for him.” Will blushed at this.
Percy then squeezed Will’s shoulder, “That’s saying something, considering he went into Tartarus alone.” Percy shuddered at the word Tartarus, so Annabeth squeezed his hand reassuringly.
Reyna then sat down in front of him, “Let’s not wake him up then.” She then looked at Will, “Carry him to my villa, you two better off sleep there instead of the Pluto shrine. I have a spare room.”
Will complied as he carried Nico bridal style then followed Reyna out with Nico in his arms. He smiled at the rest of the group then said, “We had fun, goodnight y’all.”
There was a series of ‘goodnights’, and ‘sweet dreams’ from the group before Will finally carried the sleeping son of Hades out.
