It was a warm summer day. Will and Nico were laying down on Nico’s bed just cuddling. Will was shirtless, and Nico didn’t mind. He used to, but he eventually got used to it. Plus, he finds Will’s freckles really cute. Will was laying on his back, while Nico had his head on one of Will’s arms while leaning into Will’s warm body.
After a few minutes, Will fell asleep, but Nico couldn’t and so he began playing with the freckles on Will’s bare body. Nico was humming as he trace random shapes and lines all over Will’s front. This always helped calm Nico’s nerves, and he knew eventually he was gonna fall asleep too. Before he could though, he felt Will stir as he accidentally traced too roughly on one freckle.
Will looked down at him then chuckled, “Love, what are you doing?”
Nico looked up then quickly remove his fingers from the freckle as he began to blush, “Sorry, did I wake you up?”
Will nodded then smiled, “It’s alright love, but it does tickle you know.”
Nico blushed even harder, “I’ll stop then.”
Will shook his head, “You don’t have to, just tell me what you’re doing.”
Nico sighed then turned to look at Will’s chest again, “I was, well… kinda tracing your freckles. It helps calm my nerves.”
Will chuckled at this, “You have no idea how cute that is.”
Nico huffed, “Oh shut up, freckles.”
Will snorted, “Freckles?”
Nico covered his face in embarrassment, “I mean sunshine… oh gods, help me!”
Will just laughed at this, “So, now I’m curious.”
Nico looked up questioningly at him. Will smiled, “Any interesting shapes you form there?”
Nico hesitantly nodded then started to trace something in his chest, just in between his nipples. “You see the freckles here kinda forms a not-so-perfect heart, but a heart nonetheless.”
Will smiled amusedly at his boyfriend, “Anymore?”
Nico pondered for awhile then lowered his finger, somewhere in his stomach just above his belly button, “Here, you can form the letter ‘N’.”
Will nodded, “I’m pretty sure that stands for Nico.”
Nico rolled his eyes, “Oh please, it’s not like you have control over your freckles.”
Will just smirked at him, “Must be a sign that you’re my soulmate.”
Nico nudged Will playfully in his chest, “Oh just shut up.”
Will chuckled then kissed Nico on the forehead, “Okay then. Now, if you don’t mind, I would love to go back to sleep. You could keep connecting my freckles though.”
Nico nodded despite the faint blush on his cheeks, “I’ll be more careful not to wake you up.”
Will smiled, “I don’t mind. Having these late-night conversations with you are kinda interesting.”
Nico rolled his eyes then kissed Will on the cheek, “Goodnight, sunshine.”
Will settled himself then smiled, “Goodnight, love.”
