Magnetic
Adora’s hands gripped Catra’s hips just a little bit tighter as she felt her tongue slip inside her mouth. Even after hundreds of kisses, this was just as magnetic as the first.
Qualification
“And what qualifications do you have that make you think you should be a part of my royal cabinet?” Glimmer inquired, watching Catra closely from her throne.
“I kicked your ass.”
Rack
The busty waitress gave Adora one last smile and left to put their orders in, but not before leaning forward to provide one more ample view of her assets.
“Wow, she has a nice-”
“You better not finish that sentence.” Catra warned with a glare.
“What?” Adora asked with a cheeky grin. “I was going to say smile.”
Effect
“How does she do it?”
Scorpia turned from where she was watching Catra coax Adora into taking a break. Bow beside her watched the scene in awe. “What do you mean?”
“Glimmer and I could never get her to take a break and the only way she’d stop is when she passed out from exhaustion.”
She gave a small smile and shrugged. “It’s the Catra effect.”
Embryo
“Adora, come on, I’m so horny.” Catra begged, trying to pull Adora to the bed. “The doctor said it’s fine to have sex while I’m pregnant.”
“I know, but I just don’t want to risk hurting the baby.” Adora tried to argue even while unbuckling her belt.
“It’s barely an embryo right now and won’t feel a thing, I promise.” She laid her naked body on the bed and spread her legs for her lover. “Now, please fuck me?”
Struggle
“No!”
Catra held Adora close as she continued to struggle against her as she whispered comforting words, stroking her hair gently. The nightmares were getting worse and it was only a matter of time before they would have to address the scars the war left.
Consciousness
Adora refused to cry.
Even as she watched Catra’s chest rise and fall and listened to the machine beep as it helped keep her alive, she would not cry. Not even She-Ra could bring Catra back and no one knew if she’d ever regain her consciousness, but all she knew was that crying wouldn’t help.
Flag
“Okay, Bow, you win!” Adora conceded, huffing as she tried to untangle herself from one of his arrow nets. “A little help please?”
Bow stood above her. “Nope. Remember what you have to do first?”
Adora sighed and took out the tiny white flag from her pocket, waving it in defeat.
Talk
Catra laid the flowers at the grave and bowed her head in respect. This was a sort of ritual she had been doing every sunday since the end of the war. She hasn’t told anyone that she is the one leaving fresh flowers, but she feels it’s her duty to Angella. Her ears perk at the sound of approaching footsteps.
“Catra, I think we should talk.”
Mass
“Remember, Catra, force equals mass times acceleration.”
Catra looked up at Entrapta from her place on the floor. “Why?”
“Why what?”
“Why do I have to remember that?”
“Because it’s important!”
“Okay okay, I’ll remember.” Catra would never admit it, but she loved hanging out with Entrapta.
Interest
Never had Adora watched someone with such rapt interest while they’re doing something as mundane as washing dishes. She stood in the doorway listening to Catra hum a tune in their kitchen, hips swaying, and she’s never been more content.
Glasses
“This can not be happening.” Catra groaned into her hands. “Please tell me that this is a sick joke.”
“They’re just glasses, Catra.”
“Yes, but I shouldn’t need them yet. Is this what it means to be old?”
Document
Adora could barely contain her joy as she signed the last document before they could go home with their new daughter. After months of waiting, the adoption was finalized and they couldn't be happier.
Ensure
It was up to her to ensure the safety of Etheria and it’s citizens. She said that she would continue fighting after the war, to keep peace, and that she would always come home to her. Unfortunately, it seemed that she wouldn’t be able to keep her promise to Catra.
Similar
For the longest time Glimmer hated how much she and Catra were alike and loathed how much they butted heads, but now, after getting to know the real Catra, the one that’s happy and in love with her best friend, she loves how similar they are.
Enjoy
“So you’re telling me we eat these pies as fast as we can and whoever eats the most wins?”
“Exactly. Are you ready to lose Adora?” Netossa challenged as she readied her fork.
“I’m going to enjoy rubbing it in your face when I win.” Adora said before preparing to go all in with her hands.
“Ha! Good luck. Now, ready… Go!”
Judicial
“I think we should have a democratic republic or at least we should do away with the monarchy on Etheria.”
“Excuse me?” Catra raised her head from between her girlfriend’s legs. “Are you thinking about our government while I’m going down on you.”
“I’m just thinking that we need to at least radically alter our judicial system- Catra? Where are you going?”
Cruel
Catra gently traced the scars along Adora’s back as she slept. The slightly faded marks served as a permanent reminder of their past. Tears pricked her eyes, remembering how cruel she had been to the love of her life.
Profile
When Bow first helped Adora set up a social media profile couldn’t tell what the big deal was, but she soon realized just how much she enjoyed showing everyone how cute Catra is.
Pen
Click. Click. Click. Click. Click.
Adora closed her eyes in frustration. “Could you please stop that? I’m trying to finish these reports.”
“No.”
“No? ”
“You’ll have to take this pen from me if you want me to stop.” Catra said, clicking the pen two more times for good measure.
Entry
“You first just need an open mind before starting therapy. I promise this will be good for the both of you.” Perfuma urged her friend.
“I don’t know Perfuma, that’s a pretty huge barrier to entry.” Talking about her problems to a stranger did not seem appealing to Catra.
Perfuma placed her hands on top of hers. “At least consider it, please.”
“I will. I promise.”
Deter
Adora flinched as Catra slammed the door behind her on the way out. She sat on their bed with her head in her hands trying to calm her own anger towards her wife down. She didn’t know what changed, but they were constantly fighting about the stupidest things. As she calmed down she decided nothing would deter her from working things out.
Intelligence
“Don’t you dare insult my authority as queen!” Glimmer shouted.
“Then don’t you dare insult my intelligence!” Catra growled in anger, refusing to stand down.
The tension in the room thickened and everyone at the table held their breath, waiting for the explosion.
Embarrassment
“Are you kidding me? On my throne.” Glimmer already had a massive headache from the post-war negotiations with the neighboring villages and now she had to deal with walking in on her best friends in her throne room. What annoyed her about the situation the most, though, was the lack of embarrassment from both offending parties.
Catra just slightly turned her body from her place on Adora’s lap and smirked. “Don’t worry, Sparkles. We’re almost done.”
Stress
For the first time in her life, Catra was finally able to allow herself to drift into sleep without worry. There was no war, no Shadow Weaver, and no Horde Prime. She relaxed into the warm body behind her whose arms were wrapped securely around her waist and, after twenty one years, finally fell asleep stress free.
