The Venatores informally dubbed as The Hunters and The Exarchs dubbed as The Scholars are subsidiaries of the Advanced Human Research and Protection Service (AHRAPS). AHRAPS itself is also a subsidiary of Hound Science and Energy, Inc.
Hound S&E was founded 110 years ago by siblings Serafina Francesca Hound and Cipriano Santi Hound with Dr. Nova Carne Vitalis and Dr. Helena Liu (Liu Fan) as co-founders. Besides AHRAPS, Hound S&E's three other subsidiaries include International Nutrition Advancement & Development (INAD), Hound Cybernetics (HC), and Promethea Solar & Fuel (PSF).
The Venatores was started by Dr. Vitalis 93 years ago. The Hunters of AHRAPS are specially trained enforcers found worldwide. They are primarily utilized to investigate and impede disruptions to daily life—specifically, revolving around individuals with anomalous abilities. Hunters are either to pacify, detain, or dispatch such individuals after assessing their Category and Threat Level to society.
Individuals that are Categorized as 1, 2, 3, and 5 are treated at the Lowest Threat Level (1). They may be recruited into The Venatores.
Individuals that are Categorized as 6 and 9 are treated as highly valuable assets, though 6 will be marked at a High Threat Level (8-9). Recruitment into The Venatores or The Exarchs is encouraged.
Individuals that are Categorized as 7 are treated at a Medium to High Threat Level (4-10). Detainment is highly advised.
Individuals that are Categorized as 10 are treated at a Low Threat Level (1-3). Relatively harmless, they are to be left alone. If provoked, they are to be treated at a High Threat Level (7-9). Pacification is advised, detainment is not necessary.
Individuals that are Categorized as 12 are treated at a Medium Threat Level (4-6). Pacification and detainment advised.
Individuals that are Categorized as 13 are treated at a Medium to High Threat Level (6-9). Assessment is required to determine pacification, detainment, or elimination.
Individuals that are Categorized as 14 are treated at a Very High to Priority-One Threat Level (10). Assessment required for detainment or elimination. Elimination advised for Priority-One Level individuals.
Individuals that are Categorized as 15 are treated at a World Ending Threat Level. Elimination is not possible. Recruitment is extremely advised.
Individuals that are Categorized as Venandi are treated at a High to Priority-One Threat Level (8-10). Individuals with Venatores training. Elimination is highly advised.
The Venatores and The Exarchs themselves are categorized into ranks. The Venatores also have an Air Force which one can join separately. Those who are a part of both will be ranked with two classifications.
The VIP Hunters are the ones who come in during a Priority-One event. The tasks they are assigned are extremely arduous and oftentimes suicidal which only these Hunters can accomplish.
Keter Classification (Kr. C/Ω) - The Apex of what a Hunter should strive to become. Only nine individuals in total have ever reached this rank. Only three Keter Class Hunters may exist at a time. These Hunters can handpick their own squadrons.
Ultra Classification (Ua. C/Χ) - The best amongst the best. 68 individuals have reached this rank. Only nine Ultra Class Hunters may exist at a time.
Elite Classification (Elt. C/Σ) - Hunters with high merit and recognition for their abilities and performances. 379 individuals have reached this rank. Only 15 Elite Class Hunters may exist at a time.
The O Class Hunters are individuals who have shown exceptional skills on and off the field. They are the ones who serve as The Venatores Covert Operations Force.
To promote O-4 Classification and further, a Hunter must be willing to eliminate or detain other Hunters.

After being recognized as a notable field operative, an individual can be categorized as proper Venatores. Some serve as squad leaders, and they are often put into pairs for field monitoring and investigation.
Senior Level Classification (Sr. C) - A Hunter must pass a field and psychological test to determine if they can go further.
