    The beast’s jaws unhinged, snapping at her feet, millions of sharp teeth just grazing her heels. A long slick tongue, shot itself outwards. It slid around one of her legs, curling upwards, leaving a sticky trail along her thigh. It jerked slightly, pulling the human in like a fly caught in a spider’s trap.
