The Weird Random AI Generated Danganronpa Cyberpunk Mess of Absolute Greatness

Summary:

An AI Dungeon created Danganronpa story. It's a mess but I don't care!

Notes:

Okay so I just decided to put some of the Danganronpa characters into an AI Dungeon generated story and this is the result. I chose to make it cyberpunk and so Kaede's a cop now. Yup, okay, enjoy this mess of a story that I copied and pasted from the website.

Work Text:

You are Kaede Akamatsu, a cop living in the the futuristic city of Zail. You have a laser pistol and a stunner. You are part of a police unit tasked with finding government criticizers. You wake up in the morning and hear on the radio that the head of the government criticizer cell was killed in a raid. You need to investigate who might have been behind this and why the police were attacked.
You safely make your apartment.

> You investigate the crime scene.
You grab a large backpack and go through the door to the station. You still need to drop off your pack at your desk.

> You drop the pack at the desk.
You walk into the cop shop. You see your partner sitting in his chair reading a newspaper. He looks up and smiles.
"You're back early," he says. "Everything OK?"

> You say "Yeah, shouldn't we examine the crime scene, Shuichi?"
Shuichi nods and stands up. He says "Yeah, let's do that."
You lead the way to the apartment. As you arrive you see a crowd watching the police line a few doors down from you.

> You push through the crowd.
You walk up to the police line. Through the gap you see two men in a large hall. They sit handcuffed to a metal chair. Their faces are covered with bandages. The hall is full of people watching them.

> You say "What's going on here?"
A man in a cheap blue suit looks at you. He has a large mustache and walks with a limp. The man says

> You say "Yes, sir?"
The man asks you "Are you affiliated with the ZPD, sir?"
You look at him and say "Yes."
The man says "You should know that all government criticizers must be arrested or killed."

> You say "Sir, I don't know hat you're talking about"
The man says "I'm a criticizer of the government. They have been imprisoning and executing dissidents for years."
You look at him confused and say

> You say "Shuichi! Arrest him!"
Shuichi walks up to the man
Shuichi says "Yes, sir. We were just investigating this building, and I'm sorry about the misunderstanding."

> You say "Okay then"
The man looks at you and sighs. Then he nods once and the police officers standing next to him take the men out in handcuffs. They lead them down the hall and through a door.

> You say "Have they been convicted?"
The man shakes his head and says "No, but... this is for the good of the country. We must protect the constitution."
You nod and say nothing.

> You go outside.
You leave the police building and walk to your car. You get in and drive home.
You spend the next few days taking the investigation. The more you learn about the situation, the less sense it makes.

> You investigate the crime scene photos.
You find the surveillance photos from the night of the arrest. In each photo, a man in a cheap blue suit sits next to one of the two men who were arrested.

> You say "That's that guy from the apartment"
Shuichi nods and pulls out his notepad to study each picture closer.
You notice there are no photos of the man who was talking to the men in the cheap blue suits.

> You say "Who was that guy?"
Shuichi looks at you and says "I don't know"
You shake your head and get into your car. You drive home and decide to ask your mother about the conversation.
You walk into the kitchen.

> You say "Hey, mom, for some reason I'm here so"
She turns and smiles. She opens her arms to hug you, but you say
"No, I have something to ask you."
She frowns and says "Oh?"

> You say "Do you know anything about the government criticizer that was killed in a raid?"
She looks at you confused and asks "What do you mean?"
"Do you know who he was or something" you say
"No, nothing like that. I really don't know anything."

> You say "Oh, well then I guess I'll leave, Shuichi is waiting for me"
"See you later, mom"
You walk out of the kitchen and head back to your house.
You find Shuich standing near your family's Toyota Echo. He looks up when he sees you approach.

> You say "Hey Shuichi"
He smiles and nods. He seems to be in a pretty good mood.
"So..."
"Could you answer one question for me"
"Spoilers ahead."

> You say "Are you the killer?"
Shuichi frowns and says "I had to kill him. He was a criminal, I'm sorry that it had to happen."
He looks down and says

> You shuichi, why?
He pauses and looks up at you. He seems to be thinking about how he should answer.

> You say "Why would you go so far as to kill him?"
He thinks for a moment and then sighs.
"I don't want to get executed"
He looks up at you with a seems like guilt in his eyes. He thinks even longer before he speaks again.

> You say "Shuichi..."
He looks at you and says
"I was scared"
Shuichi turns away from you and walks to the car. He gets in, slams the door shut and drives off.

> You decide to keep Shuichi's secret safe.
You decide to keep his secret and don't tell anyone what he told you.

> You go home.
As you reach your car, a police car stops next to it. A man steps out and walks over to you.
"Hey, do you know what this is about?" he asks holding up the file folder.

> You say "I don't think I understand, sir"
The man nods and says "Well, can you at least tell me if you've done anything wrong?"
"No, sir"
The man sighs and says

> You say "Can you please explain why you're here?"
The man clears his throat and begins to read from a piece of paper.

> You say "Hmm?"
The man looks up from his paper and begins to speak.
"We just received a tip that this car was used in the armed robbery of the PD four nights ago."

> You say "That's not possible, sir, my car was at home the whole time"
The man shrugs his shoulders and says
"Well, that's what the tip says at any rate. I just need to know if it's true, then I can take these guys off the streets."

> You say "It isn't true, sir"
"Well, I'm sorry about this, but we have to do a thorough search."
The officer walks over to the car and begins searching the exterior for tools or weapons.

> You watch the man.
You watch the man as his hands begin to move on their own, searching the coupe.
A few moments later he turns to you and asks
"Have you ever done anything illegal, sir?"

> You say "No sir, and I am a woman"
The man frowns and says
"Oh, well then why were you at the scene of a crime?"
"I was with a friend and his car got stolen. We waited there to get it back"

> You say "Why are you suspecting me?"
"Because your story doesn't add up."
"I'm not going to argue with you sir, I have to go now."
"Alright then, have a good day"

> You go home.
You walk back home and seek refuge in your bed. You lie there in the dark for hours trying to decide what to do.
Do you go to the police and tell them everything?

> You don't give up Shuichi.
You change your mind and decide to go to the police. You can't just keep something like this from them. You get out of bed and start to get dressed.

> You go to the police station.
You get into your car and drive to the police station. You arrive and walk into the main part of the building. You walk up to the desk and ask where you might find someone who may help you.

> You say "I would like to report someone"
After a few moments the officer behind the desk gets up and begins walking toward you.
He asks
"What would you like to report?"

> You say "I would like to report detective Shuichi Saihara for the murder of the government criticizer"
The officer nods with a serious expression and says
"I think you had better come with me, then."
"Wait, there was a detective there too? He didn't do it!"

> You say "Huh? Maki why are you here?"
The officer informs you
"Detective Maki was killed in the line of duty, she and detective Saihara worked together on the case..."
He continues

> You say "How did I not know this?"
"Well, we don't like to tell people. It's really bad for news coverage."
"Ah, got it."
The officer leads you to a door at the back of the room and says

> You say "Will Shuichi be arrested?"
The officer looks down a bit and says
"I really don't know, please come with me."
You walk through the door and into a hallway. The officer says
The officer asks what happened next.
You didn't do anything, in fact you've been trying to find the detective ever since you woke up. You wanted to say something before, but you were too scared.

> You say "Shuichi confessed to me that he murdered the government criticizer"
The officer nods and asks
"What made you come forward now?"
You tell him that you wanted to be a good person after all.

> You say "I don't want to hurt Shuichi, but I can't keep something like this secret"
"Well then, you have come to the right place."
"So what happens now?"
The officer says "Detective Saihara will be arrested."
"What?"
The officer explains that you have been positively identified as well as the witness who saw the crime. There is nothing he can do.

> You say "Wait what?"
"I'm sorry, but I have no choice. It's for the best."
"But I thought you said you wanted to help me!"

> You say "Am I being arrested, too?"
"I would advise against it."
The officer sighs and explains that if you go to trial and explain what really happened, you might be able to convince the jury of a different version of events.

> You say "Then I'll do it"
"Don't say I didn't offer."
"G-good luck."
You are lead out of the building and into a police car.

> You go willingly.
You want to go out looking like a hero, not arrested. No self respecting hero would be taken in without at least a fight. You get out of the car and walk toward the building with your head held high.

> You get in the police car.
It would be a pretty big deal to get the police arrested and then be unable to tell anyone. If you're going to do this, you need to do it right.

> You go to arrest Shuichi.
You walk into the office to find it empty. You walk through it a few times, calling for Shu or any of his people, but no response.

> You say "Shuichi? Are you here?"
Just as you're about to call out, you hear a bunch of footsteps coming from the back of the office.
After some more searching you find him sitting in an empty desk chair looking at his phone.

> You say "Shuichi"
"Hey, Kogane."
"What are you doing?"
"Waiting to be arrested."
"You just got released."

> You say "Number one, I'm Kaede, you've known me for years, and two, you're being tried for murder"
"Oh, Kiely, right"
Shu looks up from his phone and gives a quick smile. He then puts his phone to his ear and speaks into it.

> You say "It's Kaede"
Shu's conversation goes on for awhile. He seems pretty chipper. He asks Kogane several times if they've found you yet, and soon Kogane will tell him.

> You say "Who is Kogane"
"Some guy I found on the internet"
"What did he do"
"He said he could get me arrested if I want"
"How do you know he can"

> You say "Why do you want to be arrested?"
"Because, if I'm being arrested then you were right, and that means the police are taking care of business. I want you to win, since you deserve it."

> You say "Thank you, Shuichi"
"You're welcome"
Shu puts his phone down and that's when the police come busting into the room.
The police arrest Shuichi before he can say anything. While they lead him away you take a look at his office.
It really is a mess. The tables are all turned.

> You say "How did it come to this?"
You didn't expect this. You just wanted him to clean up his act. Now you have to explain the whole situation to Kogane or else you'll look like a liar.

> You go with the police.
You follow the police car closely and soon you find yourself in court. You look around and you see all of your friends. There's Kogane, Shu, Tomo, Yurik, and several more.

> You watch the trial.
The trial goes pretty quickly. The police easily prove that Yurik killed Tomo with the candlesticks, and it doesn't take long before they arrest him.

> You arrest Shuichi.
When the trial is over, you go to the police station with your friends. You notice how different the police are now. Instead of them just being scared, they're actively angry.

> You say "I can't believe we caught him"
"Why did you let me be arrested"
"It was the best way to make the killer look guilty."
"But I wanted to be arrested, it would have made my goal easier."

> You say "That's fine, Shuichi"
"But if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have made it this far."

> You say "Well, I hope you got what you wanted."
"Hmm, not quite"
Shu smiles and points out the little TV near the back of the room. It's turned to a local news station which is talking about how a boy named Shuichi

> You say "That's you, Shuichi, you're infamous now"
"And I can live with that"
Kogane is watching the trial, he slowly gets to his feet and heads towards the bathroom.
You're now sitting next to him, but you notice something is off.

> You take Shuichi to prison.
You take him to prison and throw him inside, he doesn't even struggle.
Eventually you're called into a meeting with the new head of the Kogane crime family, it goes like this:

> You say "So Shuichi was working with you?"
"Yes, he was the head of the Kogane family"
"But you just called him a killer."
"He killed my underling Tomo, I had no choice but to take his head"

> You say "Can I speak to detective Kyoko Kirigiri?"
"Yeah, she's in a meeting right now, you can wait"
A few minutes later, Detective Kirigi comes out and you tell her everything.

> You say "Shuichi is in prison now, and I've just found out he's the head of a crime family, what's going on?"
"Wow, what a day for you"
"Yeah, so I guess you're done?"

> You say "Is that all?"
"Yep, the fastest trial and arrest record in the history of the Kogane police"
You leave relieved that the madness is over, though you don't exactly feel safe anymore.

> You go home.
The day passes and soon it's night.
You find yourself walking down the street, it's dark, and that makes you feel even more uncomfortable than the actual fact you're walking down a street by yourself at night.

> You go home.
You arrive at your home and open the door. You walk inside, putting your bag on the floor, then you notice that something is wrong, you notice how quiet your home is.

> You say "Is anyone in here?"
No one responds, you walk into your kitchen and notice that the cupboard doors have been opened, some of the food has been taken out and put back in a different place. You check the living room and bedroom.

> You say "Hello?"
No one is there, someone or something has been in your house and you have no idea who it could be.
It's now that you notice the broken window in the back door, you stare at it in shock.

> You pull out gun.
You grab your gun and point it at the door.
Your finger trembles a little as you try to hold the trigger while keeping both eyes open.

> You open the door.
You open the door and immediately point your gun into the darkness, waiting for your eyes to adjust.

> You say "Come out now, in the name of the law!"
As you speak the words, you notice two figures standing facing you.
One of them is a young woman with short black hair wearing a brown jacket over a striped shirt and brown trousers.

> You say "Who's there?"
You hear a voice from behind the door.
"Detective, we should talk about your investigation."
The other figure is a tall, well-dressed man in his fifties.

> You say "Who are you?"
"My name is Henshall, I am the lawyer for the Kogane family."
"You're the lawyer?"

> You say "Why are you in my house?"
"My client is being targeted by the Japangian police, they are looking for someone to blame for a tragic accident. Your son is a prime candidate."
"What do you mean?"

> You say "I don't have a son"
"Ah, how unfortunate, you are the father of Shuichi Kogane, the young man who was killed in the gas explosion?"
You feel your blood pressure rise.

> You say "Wait Shuichi's my kid?!"
"Yes, I am sorry for your loss."
You have a quick urge to shoot the man, but you hold back since you don't know where he stands.
"What do you want?"

> You say "I just arrested Shuichi today!"
"Ah, I see. You have my sympathies."
"There's something you should know detective, my client is innocent."
"Yes, I already know that"

> You say "What is going on?!"
"Absolutely nothing, there is no investigation."
"Why are you lying to me?"
"My client wants nothing to do with the death of your son."
"You're bluffing, you set this up!"

> You say "I remember when my dream was just to play piano... I kinda want that back now"
"If you want your son back, then you'll do what I say."
"Fine"
"Good, now get out of the house, I need to talk to your wife."

> You say "WHO IS MY WIFE"
The man smiles.
"I'm sorry detective, your wife died several years ago."
You raise your gun, but the man disappears before you can fire.

> You say "The hell?! I have a wife?!"
You feel like you've been drugged. You begin to feel sleepy, as you see a young woman appear in front of you.

> You say "Who are you?"
"I'm Sayoko, your wife for the past three years."
"But..."
"We only just met and I have already stolen your heart away from another woman... What is her name?"

> You say "Uhh... let's see... who do I know... umm maybe Miu?"
"Ah yes, your bossy secretary, I've heard about her. We're not together."
"Wait what?!"

> You say "Wait she's my secretary?"
"Yes, have you not noticed how much effort you make to talk with her every so often?"
"That's just my habit of saying hello to the same few people."

> You say "I don't have a secretary though"
"Well you're lying to me."
"I... I swear I don't have a secretary!"

> You say "God, I don't even know who you are"
"I'm sorry about this detective, but I just can't be your girl."
You begin to feel dizzy as the woman begins to disappear before your eyes.
"I hope we meet again."

> You say "Okay, so apparently I have a secretary who is also my mistress..."
You hear a loud bang from outside your house.
It's so loud that it wakes up your neighbors, who begin to yell out about a loud noise.

> You investigate the sound.
You get out of bed and open your front door.
There on the floor lies a young woman, she's wearing a sailor uniform like the one you saw earlier.

> You say "Oh, are you okay?"
She begins to cough up blood as she sits up.
"W-why didn't you help me when I fell?"
"I was scared, and honestly I didn't think you would have helped me anyway."

> You say "I didn't see you fall though"
"N... Nare-san pushed me from the top of the stairs."
"Are you sure it was a girl?"
She gives you a confused look.

> You say "Who is Nare?"
"The ghost that killed me."
Before your eyes you see the girl begin to disappear.
"H-help..."
The girl disappears completely.

> You investigate Nare.
You run up the stairs of your house and see a young girl laying at the top of the landing.
She's missing most of her body and appears to be mostly translucent.
"Nare?"

> You say "Are you the person the girl called Nare?"
"Yes."
"Oh, did she push you too?"
"She pushed my friend into the railing and then me, I tried to save her but... I'm dead now."

> You say "You're... dead?"
"My spirit can never be free. Now I am a ghost that needs to touch someone every night to sate my hunger."
"That sucks, I know how it feels to not be able to leave your body."

> You say "Are you okay?"
"I'm not sure... my body hurts all the time now, it's always hot or cold. I'll never be like normal children anymore."

> You say "Oh..."
"Do you know how long I've been like this?"
"I dunno, since that girl pushed you?"
"No, since long before that... I was a normal child. Then something changed me."

> You say "What is going on?! All I wanted to do... well not wanted but anyways, all I was going to do was investigate someone's murder, but then I found out it was Shuichi and I had to arrest him and find out he's the head of a crime family and I have a secretary who just happens to be Miu Iruma who I'm apparently cheating on my wife who I never found out about with and oh God just let this please be a dream or something"
"That's what I've been thinking ever since it happened. That it's all a dream."
"Yeah, but I can't wake up from it."
"I know the feeling."
"You do?"

> You say "Is this a dream?"
"Yes..."
You look around and you find yourself in your bed. You also notice you're still holding the revolver that you thought you had given to Yurika.

> You say "I need therapy now"
You sigh, and put the revolver under your pillow.
"Never mind, I just need to sleep it off."
You close your eyes and drift off to sleep.
