Work Text:

it was a warm spring day, and keigo had just finished scouting out new potential recruits for the new syndicate he had formed with touya after they ditched the league of villains. nothing of big potential had stuck out today, and he'd even had to cut a few down. his large wings took him on top of a building, and out of exhaustion, he collapsed and laid there for a little while. the man didn't know what to do at that point, since he was pretty worn out from the day, so he decided to set his sights on going back to the hideout touya and him had been setting up for the past few months. the pair were practically unstoppable together, always knowing their boundaries in fights and always seeming to get along outside of fights, even though sometimes they'd get a little sassy. he spread his wings and took a leap off the building, picking up speed and he flew through the air, still wearing his old hero outfit for the mobility. he looked down on the city from the clouds, easily spotting the buildings near their alleyway. he sped over as fast as he could, eager to give himself a rest on one of the couches they had put in. he quickly descended on the location, walking into the dark alleyway system, finding a familiar door and knocking.

"yeah, yeah, coming." a raspy, deep voice declared from the other side of the door, exciting keigo a little bit.

there was a pause for a few seconds followed by the door opening and shutting quicker than he had even opened it, locking it up once more. keigo had walked in, but just now turned around to see the pale figure in dark clothing. touya. the spiky-haired guy gave keigo a small grin as he turned around and met eyes with the winged man, keigo secretly getting a little hyper, staring into the man's bright, blue eyes. before keigo could keep swooning, however, he quickly walked over to the couches and collapsed onto one of them, sighing in relief as a large weight felt like it was taken off of keigo, making the man smile. he closed his eyes, almost beginning to doze off after a long day's work.

touya had spent months on the new hideout, taking in the nice atmosphere of the main room, modeled after and inspired by the league of villain's old bar hideout. there was a bar, yes, but on top of that, he had made a whole lounge area for the villains working there to lounge and chill. the back rooms were an intricate system, even though there were so few. there was the first back room that was accessed through the bar area, which had nothing of interest in it, more as a front for the bar agenda. there were three doors in this back room. one lead to the main room for plotting and big jobs, one lead to a training area, which was set up in a large storage room, and one simply had a "DO NOT ENTER" sign draped on the door that touya put off limits for any of the people working in the syndicate.

the couches were currently occupied by a sprawled out, almost asleep keigo and a tired touya, so touya decided to give keigo a little nudge with his foot, getting him to wake up a little.

"hmm, what?" keigo asked in response to being disturbed from his near-sleep.

touya stood up from the couch he was sitting on, walking towards the back room door. "come, i have a surprise for you." he said with a toothy grin.

he opened the door, keigo quickly getting up and following him back, yawning and stretching his wings. touya strolled over to the "DO NOT ENTER" door, tossing the sign from the door and opening it, which came as a small surprise to keigo, who had never seen the door get opened in the months that he had been working on the hideout. touya continued up the recently repaired stairs, keigo following shortly behind. touya smiled, with a small chuckle, saying 'ta-da' as he spun around, showing off the recently refurbished room. it had a king-sized bed, two decent quality couches, a refrigerator, a table and chairs, and more other decent pieces of furniture. touya, over the past month, had been working (and this includes manual labor) on this room for keigo and him to share as co-leaders of the group. the room actually was two rooms connected by a mostly-open wall.

"touya.. this is great! is this for me?" the winged man inquired giddily.

the scarred man chuckled a little, "nothing comes without a price. sorry birdy, but we're sharing it."

touya saw keigo shrug a little with an excited expression, seeming open to the idea of sharing this living space with him. touya watched as keigo wandered over to the very large bed, jumping into it and rolling around on the high-quality blankets and mattress. "oh, i love it! it's so comfortable, touya!" keigo exclaimed happily.

"you have no idea how long it took to even get this furniture, so don't ruin it. also, don't get your feathers all over the bed. i'm.. sleeping on it too." touya grumbled.

keigo got up from the bed and walked towards touya, who was a little grumpy still. touya looked down a little, since keigo was a little shorter than him, and smiled at him a little. keigo took touya's hand and walked him over to the edge of the bed, touya confused as ever. they stopped, and just when touya was about to ask what he was doing, keigo connected their lips.

wait, keigo's kissing touya.

the two stood there for a second after keigo pulled away, and touya surprisingly pulled keigo back in, kissing him a little harder than before and wrapping his arms around keigo's waist. he pulled away from keigo, smiling like a little kid.

"i think i've fallen for you, dabi." keigo muttered, to touya's surprise.

though, he smiled. "i think i've fallen for you, too, birdy."
