In the scant few months before his 18th birthday and his debut into Hero Society, Keigo Takami is given an assignment to prove that he can stand on his own as a Hero, and that he can track down any and all threats to their society, by being thrown out on his own to find food, shelter - to start rooting out criminals from the ground up, without the protection of the Commission. He gets more than he bargained for after a chance encounter with a boy with fire as blue as his eyes.
