It was just meant to be a Phasmophobia stream, the SBI + Tubbo and Ranboo. They were just meant to have some fun, get some primes, and maybe some women along the line. Okay, maybe not women but Tommy could dream.
This, of course, was ruined when Wilbur decided he was going to be an asshole.
Tommy knew it wasn’t intentional, but he’d been having a bad day with the whole dysphoria thing so the last thing he needed to hear after getting absolutely obliterated by a ghost was “Tommy you scream like a little girl”.
“I do not! I yell like the biggest man on earth. How dare you disrespect THE Biggest Man” Tommy shouted back at him, trying to keep with the bit while also trying to get Wilbur to shut the fuck up before he died.
“Sure Tommy, you are the biggest man with your little girl screams.” he laughed lightly. Tommy is going to kill him, they will never find Wilburs corpse.
“Why are you being such an arse today?” he didn’t intend to sound so genuinely upset but too late now he guessed.
That seemed to shut Wilbur up, he moved on from the bit and everything was looking fine. Back to regular scheduling. Primes and women. Oh, and hanging out with his friends. That too. Everything was okay again, until 20 minutes after the stream ended.
Wilbur had messaged him.

At that moment Tommy considered his options. He could lie to Wilbur, say that he didn’t mean to come off as aggressive and say it was a part of the bit OR he could out himself and risk losing his best friend and career. Unfortunately for Tommy, Wilbur was calling and he didn’t really have the time or the energy to argue with himself.
“Hey Big Man”
“Hi. Are you okay? You haven’t been answering my messages and you sounded pretty upset on stream.”
“No uh” He had to make his choice right now. “I was on drugs”.
“...”
Oh boy that was not the right thing to say abort abort oh god oh shit
“ Drugs??? ” Wilbur said incredulously. Tommy couldn’t tell if it was the binder restricting his air or if he was panicking too much.
“No not drugs uh” Tommy stumbled around his words which was very not pog and he was losing his mind.
“Tommy are you alright? What's going on you're starting to worry me, man.” Wilbur laughed nervously at the end of the sentence, and Tommy took a deep breath.
Wilbur had always said good things about trans people, right?
Tommy couldn’t shake the feeling he was going to make a huge mistake.
“You like trans people right? Like you wouldn’t be a dick to one?” He hated the way his voice shook. This shouldn’t be so difficult, Wilbur was his friend.
“..Tommy are you trans?”
He felt his chest tighten.
“Yeah, big man. I uh yeah..”
There was a moment of deafening silence and Tommy could feel his whole world crumble around him. He could see it now, Wilbur was going to stop associating with him, then he would out him on Twitter. He might as well kiss his streaming career goodbye now.
“Pog”
“You’re- You’re okay with it??”
“Yeah man, I mean you’re like a little sibling to me Toms. So she/her pronouns?”
What.
“What..?”
“Well if you’re trans then I want to refer to you how you’d like me to-”
“Christ- no- other way around. I am still a big man, the biggest, and the only man ever.”
“Oh. Ohhhh so that's why you got upset when I said you screamed like a little girl?”
Wilbur could not be this stupid.
“Yeah obviously. For being so old you aren’t very wise.”
Before Wilbur could respond to that, Tommy hung up the phone to think about what the fuck just happened.
In an apartment in Brighton, Wilbur felt like shit. He’d accidentally made his pseudo little brother feel bad, he knew it wasn’t on purpose. But he still felt bad. Tommy had hung up so abruptly and the guy sounded like he was on the verge of a panic attack, and Wilbur couldn’t blame him for panicking.
Wilbur hoped Tommy knew that he had Wilbur's full support. He didn’t know a lot about the trans community past the obvious but he tried his best. Tommy seemed alright though, and right now, that's all that mattered
