Slowly, Aventurine stops spinning the revolver, facing the muzzle towards himself. The metal glints with cold light from the bright blue Dream Bubbles, and the hole of the muzzle is pitch black. A bullet will come from there - hot, loud, faster than he can blink. Maybe he’ll hear the sound before the bullet hits. Maybe he’ll get to see his blood - sickly viscous, blue and purple. Or maybe this time it will be red. Bright and blooming in this forsaken, forgotten room in the depths of the Dreamscape Reverie, awash with blues save for whatever remains of him.
