Chapter Text
Dabi was his alpha, Tomura could feel his connection with him throbbing in his neck tighter and tighter each time they were close. But his life wasn't pink or full of flowers, he knew he would have to give up his love as soon as Sensei discovered it. Or at least he thought the biggest threat was the man who raised him as a son, he never considered that Dabi would fall in love with another, that he was with him, that was a huge shock for Tomura.
Hawks had been in the League for less than a month, yet he and the dark alpha were still together. Not that Tomura saw anything wrong, Dabi and he didn't even date, even though Tomura's messy mind saw all the midnight conversations on the roof as a kind of "date". But it was okay, because he still believed that Dabi was his, and that they were heading towards a good relationship in the midst of their crimes in the League of Villains.
But Sensei had said it once: "If it's too easy, Tomura, be careful. Relationships, even friendships, may not be what they seem."
How he wished he hadn't been so naive. When he saw Hawks and Dabi kiss once, his heart refused to accept it, the connection with his alpha tightened around his neck so hard that he passed out when he was choked. When he woke up, dizzy and with a dry throat, he saw Dabi's sapphire eyes staring at him with concern, and that was the height of his despair, his inner wolf, his omega, howled in pain and cringed, whimpering at the loss of his connection with his alpha.
It was then Tomura felt that immense emptiness in his heart and noticed the lack of the comforting warmth that inhabited around his throat.
He felt nothing, really, except cold. Cold, emptiness, weakness and bewildered. Even when Kurogiri gave him a cold bath to lower his fever, or when Atsuhiro covered him with a soft and - probably - warm blanket, he continued to shiver and feel himself freezing inside. He was losing weight over time, he heard Toga and Hawks talking in the hall outside his room about how pale and sick he looked.
So Ujiko had to be called. The old omega quickly realized what was happening and took Tomura to his laboratory. An injection with an extremely strong suppressor made his wolf feel anesthetized, and let Tomura take a deep breath, momentarily return to his natural state and be able to tell Sako, Kurogiri, Giran and Ujiko what was happening.
- I can't heal you this time, Tomura. - the doctor apologized with pity for the young omega that he cared for a long time. - You have a few options, and I don't see any of them as pleasant.
- What do I have to do, Ujiko? - asked the white-haired one.
- You could easily get Hawks out of your way... - he started as he tossed the used syringe into the trash.
- No! - exclaimed Shigaraki. - I... I think Dabi doesn't feel the connection, that's why he's with Hawks. Or he feels it, but he is not connected with me. - he murmured sniffling as he was hugged by the omega he considered a father. - Maybe that's why I'm so sick...
Sako exchanged a concerned look with Kurogiri as he gently stroked his pup's soft, light hair, his chest tightening at the prospect of a miserable life for Tomura, one he hated.
- There's one thing... - Giran started uncomfortably.
- NO! - Atsuhiro exclaimed, holding Tomura even more tightly against his chest in a defensive posture.
- But...
- I said no, Giran! - repeated the irritated omega.
- Tomura, listen to me, if you find another alpha, maybe you...
- Enough, Giran! - this time it was Kurogiri who interrupted the beta, who made a face at the couple while he thought of a thousand and one ways to get to speak to Tomura alone.
- What? - asked the boy, looking up curiously. - What do you mean, Giran? I can't just connect with another alpha, this is biologically impossible!
- Not exactly, but if your connection to Dabi is so weak that make you sick, a mating mark would make it disappear or even connect with the alpha if he is present enough. - explained the blond-sand-haired one.
- Which is bullshit, since it would make you even sicker. - Compress replied with abnormal anger.
- How would cutting the disease in the bud make you sicker, Sako? - Ujiko asked raising an eyebrow watching the situation unfold. - This idea of Giran makes complete sense, actually. If Tomura mates with an alpha strong enough, a lupus if we're lucky, the connection will disappear.
- And over time Tomura will become a slave to his own mark! - the brunette shouted, desperate. - I've seen it happen before, Giran! I will not let this happen to my pup!
- And if I want? - Tomura replied before anyone else. - What if I want to try this, Sako? It is my decision, I can freely choose to mate or not.
Atsuhiro remained silent, but continued to embrace Tomura while he silently held against that decision. Kurogiri sighed, but said nothing because he knew Tomura too well to know that he had already made his decision.
- Now we just need an alpha willing to mate with you. - Ujiko thought aloud, already preparing a new dosage of the suppressor for the white-haired omega.
- Actually... - the gray-haired man murmured as he took a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. - I already have an Alpha Lupus waiting for this.

Dabi and Hawks were on the couch at the base of the League when Kurogiri, Compress, Giran and Tomura traversed the individuality of the only alpha among the four. The boy was half asleep in the beta's arms, but he could see how quickly Hawks got out of Dabi's lap to check on his boss, the hickeys on his neck showing what the two had been doing a few minutes ago. The teenager was sure that if it weren't for the suppressors, he would be turning over in agony and suffering.
- Tomura needs to rest. - he heard Kurogiri's voice through the sleep fog in his brain. - He took a lot of suppressors and they'll make him sleep for a few hours.
- Suppressors? - from somewhere in the room, Shigaraki heard Spinner's voice ask. - What would Shigaraki need suppressors for? Is something wrong with his omega?
- Like an omega with lupus genes, he is more sensitive than the others. Magne's longing and the stress of the past few days had him collapsing. - it was in desperate moments like that that Giran's great ability to lie surprised Tomura and made him want to cry with relief.
- But will he be okay, right? - Keigo asked with his red wings flapping. - What about the side effects of the medicines?
- Ujiko made many suppressors especially for Tomura throughout his life. - Kurogiri defended the doctor without much emotion in his voice, as always. - I'm going to put him to bed, don't make any noise.
Shigaraki was too tired to stay awake any longer, he doesn't remember the moment he fell asleep, but the feeling of cold slowly crawling across his skin he couldn't forget.

Chisaki was at an important meeting with some American Mafia allies when her cell phone vibrated to indicate a message. He ignored it and didn't answer it until the end of the meeting, when the Americans left his base and he was alone with Kurono in the room. He took out his cell phone and, after reading the message, something stirred inside his chest, something like anxiety and nervousness mixed.
- What happened? - Seeing his eyebrows together in deep thought, Kurono asked.
- Finally we will end that damn League once and for all. - murmured the golden-eyed lupus, clutching his green jacket. - Come on, Chrono, let's go get our queen.
Quickly understanding what his boss was talking about, the silver-haired one smiled quietly, putting on his mask and following behind Kai having to contain his excitement.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tomura looked at Chisaki's signature on that contract as if black ink was the most interesting thing in the world. Around him he could vaguely hear an argument between Overhaul and Compress, but he did not register the words very well, the effect of the drugs to contain his inner wolf made him drowsy and, well, colder than usual. Since he woke his wolf didn’t stop quiet, it was like he was pacing around in a cage, snarling and trying to break free through his skin, take control and submit to his one true alpha, Dabi. But luckily it was Tomura who was in control now, he would leave the brunette and his mate alone for the sake of his valuable friendship with the blue flames' villain.
- Tomura, you don't have to do this. - Atsuhiro knelt in front of him and held his hands tightly, releasing his omegas pheromones to comfort him and his wolf. - We can find another solution, one that does not force you to marry him.
- I'm right here, Compress. - Chisaki's alpha voice made a shudder run through Tomura's spine, who swallowed and took the black pen from the desk in Giran's office. He realized that his hands were shaking, but he couldn't do anything else at that point, it was that or die. And Shigaraki, for the first time, was willing to swallow his pride in the face of the alpha lupus with brown hair.
- I'm fine, Atsuhiro. - The white-haired teenager sighed and brought the marriage contract closer to him. - I have to do that.
Sako sighed too, standing up and standing next to his alpha, seriously, seeing all the eyes of those in the room fixed on the figure of Shigaraki, who was trembling and looking paler than usual as he signed his name on the paper. Overhaul smiled behind his black mask, victorious, having to contain his pheromones of satisfaction that wanted to run wild and involve the trembling figure of the omega that now belonged only to him.
From the first time he saw Tomura his inner wolf freaked out, wanting that small omega, with sharp, volcanic eyes, more than anything. He had never seen his peaceful wolf so uncontrolled before, it was almost an impulsive desire to mark that skittish little thing and make him behave in front of him, it was irrational and Kai was anything but irrational. He was a lupus, after all, and lupus were known to be more controlled than ordinary alphas, as well as stronger, faster, taller, and for being able to turn completely into wolves.
That is why Yakuza was so powerful these days, everyone there was an lupus and proudly said so to anyone who asked. And now Shigaraki would be the first omega that was not a lupus in the entire history of the mafia, despite having the lupus genes.
- I think our business here is finished. - Hari murmured taking the contract and keeping it with him. - You will come with us now, Shigaraki.
Kai cleared his throat, which made Kurono's eyes widen.
- I mean... - the platinum blonde corrected automatically. - You will come with us now, Tomura.
- Why??? - Mr. Compress asked loudly, standing in front of the smaller omega. - He doesn't have to go with you now, he still has to pick up some things at the base of the League.
- It's part of the omega adaptation. - Chisaki finally spoke again, pulling away from the wall where he was and getting close to the two omegas. - The longer he stays close to the Yakuza members he will have to live with, the better his adaptation will be after the mark.
Sako looked down into Tomura's red, sad eyes. He knew Overhaul was right, but that didn't make him accept more easily that he would have to leave his pup with that alpha lupus.
But it was what Tomura wanted, what he had to do to survive, and Sako would have to let him go.
Shigaraki stood up, hugging the older omega and being returned almost instantly. The light-haired boy would miss his friends, his family so much, but he couldn't do anything else. This was his destiny now, it was what he had to do.
- Let's wait down there. - Chisaki said to Hari, who nodded.
- I will go together. - Kurogiri decided, escorting the two Yakuza out of the office that was on the fifth floor of an old and very well maintained building away from the city center.
Alone in the office, Giran, who until now had been quietly watching, spoke for the first time:
- Look, Tomura, I know some of the omegas that Overhaul will make available to you. - he murmured looking at the two hugged omegas. - Some, like Sana and Haru, will be very useful for protection, while others, like Fuyuki and Jay, will be there to keep you calm and controlled. You can trust them.
- I hope so. - murmured the smallest, letting go of Atsuhiro with his expressionless face. - I gotta go.
Sako stroked his pup's face one last time and smiled sadly.
- Magne would be very proud of you. - was his last sentence for Tomura.
With red eyes full of tears, the youngest sighed and swallowed, turning and opening the wooden door that led into the wide corridor on the fifth floor. Luckily the elevator was empty when he and the other two men entered it, because the teenager felt that his stock of social skills had long been exhausted.
Chisaki and Kurogiri were watching the empty street when the three men reached the ground floor. A black car with tinted windows was waiting for them, the door open just waiting for Tomura, Hari was already inside putting on his blue headphones as if nothing else was going on.
- Kurogiri will take some of your things to home in a few days, don't worry. - Overhaul said it in his thick, muffled voice by the mask, which strangely now belonged to another model.
"He must have changed when we were inside." thought the white-haired one.
- Right. - he murmured simply because he felt that if he said anything more than that, he would be sick.
Tomura hugged Kurogiri briefly before getting into the car, snuggling and closing his eyes. Chisaki closed the door and sat in the passenger seat, next to the driver, who started the car and went on his way.
