You're the only for me. Always have been. Even when we were just kids chasing each other kindergarten with our water guns. I wanna wake up next to you every morning. Put my arm around you casually and draw you close like it's the most natural thing in the world. Tell me you want it too.
When you pause mid conversation to lick your lips, or take a sip of your drink, I ache to lean in and kiss the errant drops away. We have been neighbour's for 23 years, our mums had us around the same time. It's time we moved in together don't you think?
I think about the sounds emanating from your room on nights you stay in to 'read'. You think you hide them, but I've seen your books. Oh what I wouldn't do to watch you read your romances.
