Musa and Riven were never a normal couple, they differed from their group of friends by their constant discussions, there was a time when everyone really thought they were going to break up. Except for both of them, who showed each time that they would give their lives for each other.
A great battle was being fought on the outskirts of Alfea, fairies and witches had come together to fight, the specialists were there as usual to give their support, however, this time it seemed not to be enough. Everyone was starting to feel really tired; the attacks were getting weaker and even though several of the great creatures had already been defeated, there were five of them that did not give up in the fight.
The Winx from the beginning were there, had already saved the magic dimension on several occasions and did not want this time to be the exception. They departed a little from where the confrontation took place to speak and at the same time to take air
"Girls," Bloom began to speak, "this is really getting out of hand, we have to go back stronger and defeat them once and for all. I don't think anyone here can last much longer.”

She heard her friends talking again, but her ears stopped listening, everything was soundproofed around her and her heart stopped for a second. She raised her hand and flew as fast as she could to where her boyfriend, Riven, stood right in front of him and cast a spell to keep everything around him, trying not to spend his entire reserve because otherwise the results would be chaotic for his life. Her decision was hasty to see how from behind he was almost crushed for fighting the monster in front of him and while that happened she was taking a break, she couldn't let anything happen to him when she was present, so Musa act without thinking.
Musa and Riven had made a promise, an oath, to protect each other despite what was going on around them. They loved each other too much to lose each other, they didn't show much of their feelings in public, but as long as they knew it was more than enough. Whenever the other could there, they were going to be there to protect each other no matter what and she wouldn't be the one to break her promise.
After acting instinctively and miraculously his magic will work better than in the last hour she had been fighting in, she felt Riven's protective arms placed behind her, her attack was not with all her might, but they left her tired enough not to react quickly, luckily he did and put his sword in the midst of the blow that was directed at her fairy's head. As she reopened his eyes, Riven's eyes followed as magnets, which were at a short distance from his own, if there was one thing she would regret was to leave him, to that love that gave him so much battle day by day, but which he certainly enjoyed in a great way.
He hugged him as tightly as he could, at that moment she noticed how he was strained, he knew she was saying good-bye and couldn't allow it. However, he hugged her just as hard, they both needed it. They broke the hug, but she was still in his arms. They reconnected glances.
"Musa don't do it, don't say goodbye, we have to keep fighting together, but alive.”
"I love you Riven.”
It was the only thing she told him before luring him to her and kissing him, all the emotions they are feeling are demonstrated at that moment. He kisses her with passion, honey. She kisses him desperately. They feel tears falling down the faces of both of them. When they separate the determination is marked throughout their being, despite all the attempts he makes to keep her from doing anything stupid.
"I love you Musa, but don't leave me," she sees her friends again for a second, she has to act fast before they realize what she wants to do, there's no way she's going to get out of this alive.
"Goodbye", it's the last thing she pronounces before flying as high as she could and hearing a distant heartbreaking "no" from her boyfriend. That's when Tecna realizes Musa's intentions, but it's too late.
She concentrates, manages to master all her emotions, feels the power to travel through her whole body ready to burst when she wants it. She places Riven with his gaze and with the truest love he could feel she let go everything, mentalizing in attacking only the strange creatures around them. A purple light came out of his body and when she is no longer to resisted her body fell from great height.
The scene that enveloped them was the astonishment of many of those present, the sadness of the winx as they knew what Melody's guardian had just done and all the creatures, which until a minute ago were killing them, dead around them. She had succeeded, dropped her full potential and saved life from the entire magical dimension, but the price was high.
From within the battlefield Riven caught the look that directed him, Musa's last look before a light blinded everything around him and when he was able to see again he only had time to run to catch the body of which he will always be the love of his life. He hugged him with all his might while still crying, in the end he could not achieve his promise.
