    "Alexander," Magnus whispered, and his voice broke a bit as Alec's name trailed off, tiredness apparent in his tone. For a moment Alec thought Magnus was awake, though the slight disappointment that resulted quickly disappeared as he realized Magnus was, in fact, asleep. It wasn't entirely unusual for Magnus to talk in his sleep, but the way he uttered Alec's name had him wondering what the Downworlder could possibly be dreaming of.
