Gaara is silent, just as he was when he helped Lee stand up from the floor. When he removed his bandages and cleaned his hands. When he helped him spit out the blood in his mouth and held his jaw open to inspect his teeth.

Gaara is a millionaire. He needs for nothing, but buys a street fighter to keep as a body guard, or a trophy, or whatever he wants to, really, just because he can.

the whole time i was reading, i had several moments of . Wow . this shit is so mind blowing?? like what the fuck?? every fucking section was a turn that i wouldn’t have expected. it was beautifully written and the idea was executed so nicely, i think
