   She bunched her blanket around her, raising her head to look at Johnny. 

   She doesn’t know what he reads on her face. Doesn’t even know what’s on it herself but suddenly, she’s falling forward.

   And the Rockerboy catches her. His knees fall onto the bed and she’s yanked against him. Against the cocoon of his chest and something powerful overtakes her. Strength laces her hands around his face and she pulls him in, eyes squeezing shut.
