"Hey!" Yuuki tapped Gentaro on the shoulder, making him jump a foot in the air. "You're logging onto Among Us tonight, right? Everyone else said they'd be there."
"Sure, I'll be there." Gentaro gave Yuuki the Kamen Rider Club fistbump and walked off, his mind in the air. He didn't like Among Us, mainly because it was all about deception, and he had had enough people lying to his face to last a lifetime. First Sonoda-sensei, then Ryusei- and yes, he had apologized, but still- and in Among Us, anyone could be a traitor. Even him.
UchuuOtaku (purple): logs on Hi!
Justin (red): logs on Oh, hi Yuuki.
MaskedGoth (black): logs on Hello.
HeyitsJK (green): logs on Yo, what’s up? Anyone sus?
Queen (pink): logs on Shut up. We haven’t started playing yet.
MeteorGo (blue): logs on Hey Tomoko, what’s up?
MaskedGoth: All good.
InfirmaryKing (yellow): logs on Why am I even here?
UchuuOtaku: Hang on, where’s Gen-chan?
HeyitsJK: I don’t know.
Queen: Oh my god, JK doesn’t know!
HeyitsJK: Shut up Miu.
Justin: Don’t talk that way to my girlfriend!
UniverseFriend (orange): logs on I have arrived!
UchuuOtaku: Gen-chan! Finally!
MeteorGo: Can we start now?
Game begins
Map: The Skeld, Tasks: Swipe card, wires - common tasks; dump trash, upload/download, Simon Says, scan, divert power, O2 filters, prime shields, asteroids, engines
UchuuOtaku: Heads to admin for card swipe, but has to do it five times before the thing accepts it. She then starts wires.
Justin: Heads to storage for wires, and then switches to the trash.
MaskedGoth: Sticks with MeteorGo and heads to Simon Says.
HeyitsJK: Scans in Medbay, then goes to O2 for the filters.
Queen: Joins UchuuOtaku in Admin for card swipe, then heads to weapons to do the asteroids.
MeteorGo: Sticks with MaskedGoth to do Simon Says.
InfirmaryKing: Goes to Electrical to do the divert power and download data tasks.
UniverseFriend: Does the shields, then heads to Medbay. Finds HeyitsJK dead and reports.
Dead body found! Discuss.
MaskedGoth: It wasn’t me or Ryusei. We were both doing Simon Says.
MeteorGo: Yeah, I can vouch for Tomoko.
UchuuOtaku: I was doing wires in Admin.
InfirmaryKing: Where was the body?
UniverseFriend: On the scanner in Medbay. Imposter could have vented out or simply left.
HeyitsJK: IT WAS KENGO!!!
MeteorGo: Can anyone vouch for Yuuki?
Queen: I can, we were doing card swipe together.
InfirmaryKing: What about you, Shun? You’re being awfully quiet today…
HeyitsJK: IT WAS KENGO DAMMIT I CAN’T EVEN!!!
Justin: I was in storage for the garbage dump and wires.
UniverseFriend: I guess we should all skip, huh?
Vote results: All skipped.
UchuuOtaku: Goes off to continue wires in Navigation and then starts Download, muttering nervously under her breath.
Justin: Breaks off from the group and goes to do engines
MaskedGoth: Goes with MeteorGo to Electrical to do divert power and download
HeyitsJK: Does his wires while cursing out loud.
Queen: Scans in Medbay and does wires in Storage before heading to Navigation.
MeteorGo: Sticks with MaskedGoth and does wires and divert power in Electrical.
InfirmaryKing: Goes to do Asteroids and then continues to Admin to do Upload.
UniverseFriend: Drops by O2, then goes to Medbay to scan.
Queen: Finds UchuuOtaku dead in Navigation and reports.
Dead body found! Discuss.
MeteorGo: Where?
UchuuOtaku: (grits teeth) Dammit Kengo!
HeyitsJK: I know, right?
Queen: She was lying dead in Nav. Where were you?
MaskedGoth: I was in Electrical with Ryusei.
MeteorGo: Can confirm.
InfirmaryKing: I was doing asteroids and then upload in Admin.
UniverseFriend: I had just finished scan when you reported.
InfirmaryKing: What about you, Shun?
Justin: Uhhh… I was doing engines.
MeteorGo: So you were on the opposite side of the ship? That’s pretty sus.
Justin: Could it have been a self-report?
Queen: No way! That’s sus, Shun. That’s sus.
UchuuOtaku: (facepalms) OH MY GOD THIS IS STUPID!!! IT’S NOT SHUN!
Vote results: One skip, three in favor of Justin, two in favor of Queen
Justin was not the imposter.
UchuuOtaku: Sighs and goes to complete her download/upload tasks. Types on dead chat- So Shun, how on Earth did you fall for that? Kengo was trying to get you to hesitate!
Justin: Types angrily- Well I didn’t see you doing any better! You just got murdered! Then goes to finish up wires and scan.
MaskedGoth: Follows MeteorGo to O2 and then she separates to do card swipe.
HeyitsJK: Rants on the dead chat before going to Storage, and on the way spots MaskedGoth going towards Admin alone. Types on the dead chat- Tomoko’s probably gonna die.
Queen: Goes to do engines and Simon Says.
MeteorGo: Goes with MaskedGoth to O2 before splitting up and heading to Storage for the trash task.
InfirmaryKing: Goes to Admin for upload and card swipe.
UniverseFriend: Does wires and download in Electrical.
Game ends. Imposters win.
MaskedGoth: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT???
MeteorGo: *smiles*
InfirmaryKing: We did good, didn’t we, Ryusei?
UniverseFriend: Traitors, both of you! I mean, Ryusei I can get- you’ve been an imposter before- but Kengo?
UchuuOtaku: Chill out Gentaro, it’s just a game.
UniverseFriend: It’s never just a game!
Justin: I don’t know what to say… You definitely got us there, Ryusei, Kengo.
MaskedGoth: *sputtering with anger* How dare you Ryusei? I will bitchslap you into next week the next time I see you!
MeteorGo: *shrugs* It was just my job. I did it. Why are you holding that against me?
MaskedGoth: Because the last time you “just did your job” you literally killed Gentaro!
Queen: You go girl!
UchuuOtaku: I presume Ryusei was the one who did the kill?
MaskedGoth: Yeah.
MeteorGo: First of all, Tomo-chan, ouch. Second of all, I’m having regrets about joining this game. Third of all, point taken.
As promised, the next day, Tomoko slapped her boyfriend so hard that he had a hand-shaped bruise on his cheek for a whole week afterward.
