Look, Ilia didn’t know what to do about the Schnee, alright? She was hot, sure, but in, like, an uptown sense, the kind of girl who Ilia would’ve broken the teeth of a few years ago (let’s not kid ourselves, a few weeks ago). Certainly not someone who’d give a gutter punk like Ilia the time of day, and that was before Ilia factored in her complete and utter maidenlessness; it was so bad that fish didn’t fear her, despite the hat she still had sitting in her suitcase. Ilia was stone-cold, and she didn’t have the burning fires of vengeance to sublimate her carnal desires into anymore, so she was just kinda fucked.
So maybe you could understand why Ilia was rather surprised when the Schnee knocked on her bedroom door with a proposition.
