   Summary

   I could not, with any peace of mind, tell her that it was because of her. That it was because every time I closed my eyes in an attempt to sleep, I always dreamt about her. Good dreams and nightmares alike, she’s in all of them.
   In dreams she tells me she loves me. In nightmares she tells me she hates me, that she never wants to see me again. Mocks me and wonders out loud how could I ever think that someone like her could ever want to be with someone like me.
   It’s torture. Every time.
   “It’s a waste of time,” I said instead.
