It was a long day as always with a heavy schedule planned ahead of them. Even though it was during the pandemic, the company they were under had planned promotional events. Many. When they got back to the dorms everyone was tired and sprawled around the room.
Hun was almost fast asleep when he felt the couch cushions shift a bit as Jaehyun got off and headed to his room. It had really been a long time since he and the puppy-like Jaehyun hung out alone because of their hectic schedule. He was torn apart whether to follow Jaehyun or give in to his heavy eyelids and fall asleep. He wanted to do the former yet what he did was the latter. Eyelids heavy, he dozed off to take a nap.
Somewhere during his nap, Hun felt a blanket like weight on him and felt warmer. It was comfortable enough, so he dismissed it and went back to his sleep. It was a well earned sleep and nothing would beat it.
When the afternoon sun hit his eyes, Hun cringed his face and slowly woke up. He was quite warm, and for a second he even considered that he somehow transformed to Romang, his furry little princess. He felt so small under the weight and strong arms around him. Fluffy hair was also making his nose itch.
Weight? Strong arms? Fluffy hair?
He slowly peeked through heavy eyelids only to see a caramel brown colored hair that belonged to none other than Jaehyun himself. Hun stared at his hair like there was some top-secret government information in each of his hair follicles, trying to comprehend when, how and why Jaehyun was cuddling with him under a blanket. He wanted to get up to stretch his legs only to be pulled back and hugged even tighter.
"Hun~"
He was feeling more warm and fuzzy inside with each passing moment, his heartbeat slowly starting to pick up pace.
Was he this affection deprived? Why would his heart skip over his best friend just doing best friend stuff like cuddling with him, hugging him tightly with his arms pressing on his lower abdomen and sides. Maybe I need to sleep more, Hun thought to himself. Overworking had probably taken a toll on him.
He slowly put his head back near Jaehyun's fluffy hair and head slowly drifting back to sleep. He really needed this sleep.
