The room turned sour with the scent of sad omega, “Do you not like me too?” sniffed Jon, he blamed the heat for all the feelings that were bubbling to the surface.
Martin’s heart broke, clearly the Archivist had been rejected before, maybe even too many times judging by how insecure he sounded, he knew how mean people could be if you didn't fit into one of their neatly labelled boxes. The impulse to tell Jon everything was back and he didn't have the mind to stop the words from tumbling from his mouth.
