Summary
For all of humanity’s knowledge, there is a significant gap in myth and actuality. For example; The Norse god Loki is accredited with having something around five children. Hel, Narfi, Fenrir, Sleipnir, and Jormungandr. This is false. For one, Loki is not really a Pagan god. Secondly: Loki, in truth, has only a brother. His name is Castiel.
-- Or, Castiel has many names in many lifetimes, but only one goal. Too bad the Winchesters never make saving the world very easy.
