Chapter Text
Aubrey was still confused.
She didn't understand, did Sunny take her out on a date? Her heart was racing and she felt her cheeks heat up as she sat with Sunny, his condition was no better. She wanted to flair a conversation but she didn't know what to say. She knew trying to have some small talk wouldn't help as it would make the situation more awkward. She saw Sunny looking away, if only she knew what he was thinking at that moment...

Sunny was so flustered. He was still quite embarrassed by how he got here. He was practicing violin alone, sinking his head into the red brown, almost crimson wood and listening calmly to the relaxing music he was producing. Just as he was about to finish the song, Mari suddenly burst into the music room, startling him. She grabbed him by the hand and before Sunny knew it, he was walking with her to some unknown location. Why? He didn't know as Mari simply stayed silent only giving him a slight smile when he asked a question. The only thing that she muttered is that they were going to Burger King to meet someone. Sunny didn't know who someone was but was taken aback when he saw Aubrey there as well. Sunny looked back to Mari but found that she ran away, leaving the 2 alone, of course leaving some money before escaping. Darn her! She probably went off with Hero for a some time alone or something. He was alone with Aubrey and didn't know how he should start a conversation.
"Sunny? Sunny!"
Sunny was taken back to reality as he heard his name being called.
"Sunny! Your food is gonna get cold!" Aubrey called out to him. Sunny realized he was spacing out for 5 minutes.
"Uh sorry, I just zoned out a bit." Sunny muttered under his breath as he picked up his burger.
"You know, you need to stop doing that. Tell you what? I'll help you whenever it happens okay?"
"Y-yeah sure.." Sunny muffled while he took a bite out of his burger.
"Hey actually, wanna go to the play area after we finish eating? Come on it'll be fun!" Aubrey exclaimed. Sunny took a quick glance over to the play area, there was a large ball pit over by the west of it, it was in a isolated and quiet area that he would enjoy. As Sunny made up his mind he quickly nodded.
"Great! Since you brought me here for this uh d-date" Sunny felt his ears go red as she said that "it's uh b-best to make the best of our time here!"
Sunny was shocked to say the least, did Aubrey think he was taking him on a date? He could feel his ears go red as he tried to correct Aubrey.
"Aubrey I didn't set this up!" Sunny tried to explain
"Wait if so then who did it?" Aubrey questioned
"Uh M-Mari did it" Sunny whispered. With that they both had filled their stomachs.
"What? Mari? Why would she-" the dots seemed to connect for Aubrey, Sunny could feel the fury that had ignited. Aubrey sighed as she calmed down "Lets just go to the play area..." Sunny obliged and got up from his seat
Sunny tried avoiding eye contact as the two of them went over to the play area, he already embarrassed himself enough. Aubrey would probably think he was a creep if he started staring at her after that awkward conversation. Yeah, that's what he is after all.. A good for nothing fool.
When the two walked into the play area, Sunny pointed towards the direction of the ballpit. Aubrey, seeming to understand what he was hinting at took him by the hand and started walking to the ballpit. Sunny was surprised by suddenly holding hands with her, he could hear his heartbeat accelerate but chose to embrace her and followed her lead.
Aubrey carefully inspected the ballpit, after all she heard they were a safety hazard. There was this odd lock on the entrance. It looked pretty dangerous but she ignored it. After all, what could be the worse to happen?
((Authors Note: wanted to include a fnaf reference so im just leaving this up in the air haha...heh.. never the same the hope i will dra-))
Before Aubrey could look back, Sunny was already sinking into the ballpit, he was adorable. She just wanted to hug him. Maybe even ki- Aubrey cleared her head after that and just slid into the ballpit to hide her blush.
Aubrey didn't seem to notice herself slowly get closer to Sunny as they played some games, Sunny however felt his chest burn more with every step she took towards him. Once they finished playing in the ballpit, Aubrey tried opening the door but to both Aubrey and Sunny's horror it was to no avail. Aubrey must've accidentally locked the door because she closed it a bit too hard. Both of them started panicking not knowing what to do.
"What are we gonna do?! Were gonna be here for so long!" Aubrey fearfully said.
Sunny kept to himself during the entire panic attack but Aubrey could tell how fearful he was. Eventually, both of them calmed down. Aubrey was still scared and stayed close to Sunny, clinging onto him. Sunny tried to make her feel better by giving her reassuring words. At one point, Sunny started tracing his hand across her back, both of them were so flushed but neither of them wanted to stop. It was silent for awhile, Aubrey knew this was the perfect chance to make a move but she didn't know how to start. Suddenly, Aubrey spoke up.
"Hey Sunny, can you come closer for a second?" Aubrey asked. Sunny obliged and huddled a bit closer to her.
Their lips intertwined. Sunny was shocked but slowly started to embrace the feeling. During the kiss, their hands locked together as they fell deeper into the feeling.
They never wanted to let go...
