Summary
Zhou Zishu does not resent being born an omega. It has never hindered him and, in fact, has often been a valuable tool in his arsenal. He does not resent it, but when the nails rob him of much of what it meant to be an omega he accepts it and locks that part of himself away.
Why would have thought that all it would take was feeling safe and secure in his old home, with the pup he's unknowingly adopted and the alpha he's still unsure what to do with close at hand to stir to life a part of him he thought dead?
