    Summary

If you googled the condition, Wikipedia would tell you "Psychogenic amnesia or dissociative amnesia is a memory disorder characterized by the sudden retrograde episodic memory loss, said to occur for a period of time, ranging from hours to years." If you had asked Frank, he simply did not remember anything from the past two years, three years fuzzy but he remembered major events, holidays, etc. There are holes in his brain, void of thought, missing pieces so to speak. There are so many gaps in his memory that it made him physically ill. He knew there was an accident from the hushed conversations thought to be out of earshot, but no one would tell him.

Or the one where Frank doesn't remember the past two and a half years of his life, and runs into the person he'd apparently forgotten.
