And maybe this really would be the end, because you couldn’t help the words that left your mouth, the same ones you’d stood by all these years. Struggling in your human bindings you tilted your head up as much as you could, sharp eyes connecting with his piercing ones before you spoke.
“Killed?” your chuckle was dark, wet like the lump in your throat “So be it.”
