Venti bounced from one foot to the other, he was waiting in front of Angel's share. Lumine had asked him too accompany her to Liyue.
His nervousness kicked in once the area around him became chill, his goosebumps disappeared instantly once he realized who was watching him. 'So the prince has arrived..'
He smiled and sent forth a breeze that would blow the hair away from the princes face, it was a habit that had developed years ago.
"Venti!"
"Tone deaf Bard there you are!"
Venti had chuckled at Lumi but his smile dispersed when Paimon had came out from her realm. "Oh it's a pixie."
"It's Paimon and you know it!"
"Paimon? Weird name Pixie."
"Stop calling me that!" The fairy balled her hands into fists and disappeared into her realm once again.
"Now, where were we? Shall we leave now traveler?" He skipped towards her and stopped a little before her.
"Soon, i have to say my goodbyes first."
"We'll only be gone for a week?"
"Mhm, i still want to say goodbye first." She opened her bag and pulled out an apple, tossing it to the bard.
"When then, Let us start! Who will we be visiting first, Traveler?" He grabbed her hand and started to walk around Mondstat, the pair of eyes never left.
"How about Jean? I've already said my other goodbyes, so after that we can stop bye the winery one our way too say bye to Diluc."
"Alright." Venti let go of her hand and followed closely as they made their way to Jean.
~.~ Seven hours later, Midnight.~.~
Venti slowly got up and made sure Lumine was asleep, once done he summoned Paimon out of her realm and alerted her he'd be visiting the Prince.
"Again? You saw him yesterday.."
"Love never rests Pixie!"
"Unrequited does."
"Just keep watch for me okay? I'll be back soon." He said, completely ignoring her comment.
She nodded and flew over to Lumi and snuggled close so she could notice if she woke up.
Venti left the camp site and ran to the Prince's hidden base. He made it there in fifteen minuets, anyone could tell he was excited.
He was greeted by Cyro mages as he stood outside the Princes chamber. "He's busy? With what."
They mumbled and moved out of the way for the Archon.
He smiled and opened the doors and slipped in, once he was noticed he changed into his Archon form.
"Hiya Aether."
"Barbatos, What are you doing."
"I'm here to see you of course!"
"You're supposed to be with Lumine right now."He scolded, as he stood up from his desk.
"Relax, Paimon is keeping watch. She'll alert me if anything happens." The Archon made his way to the balcony.
"That's too risky, Paimon is unreliable." Aether kept his eye on the boy as he slowly slide open the doors, and welcomed the night breeze into the room.
"Lumine is more then capable defending herself, And Paimon will notify me as soon as she wakes up, if anything happens i will be there immediately."Venti sighed and looked back at the Prince who was glaring at him.
"Has the fatui bothered you recently?"
"Of course they have."
Venti watched as Aether sharpened his sword.
"How long do you plan on being here." The prince asked a few minuets after Venti began to hum.
"Do you not enjoy my company?"
"Of course not. In fact i dislike everything about you."Aether grabbed a dagger and threw it at Venti, it hit the railing beside him.
"well then, I'll be heading off now, please do get some rest soon your Highness," He carefully climbed on top of the railing and jumped, "Goodnight your majesty!" He called as he glided off.
Aether groaned and walked over to his balcony and shut it, he made note to scold his bedroom guards for letting Barbatos in, in the morning.
