designergirl: you got caught up in her stories and that's understandable

designergirl: i mean, everyone in the class has achieved great things so it's not that unbelievable i guess

designergirl: i just wished you had trusted me when i said she was lying

ladyblogger: i was too obsessed with her *fake* bff ladybug and i got carried away

ladyblogger: the rest of the class knows it too

ladyblogger: but we wanted to talk about the expulsion thing and i need to know why lila would try to frame you

designergirl: fine

designergirl: so basically, i knew she was lying from the beginning because of my own connections (i'm not gonna brag about that sort of stuff, but then again, i DO know jagged stone and clara nightingale personally, and i knew that she was lying about that) so i called her out on it cause i didn't want you guys to get mislead. she kept bragging about how she could get you connections and your interview thing and you could get in serious trouble for that if ladybug saw it or something and called you out. i know it could look like i was jealous but you should rlly know me better since im friends with kagami.. like yeah i was a bit jealous at first but then i realized that the problem was deeper.

designergirl: especially cause i followed her when she was looking suspicious

designergirl: and you know that book that adrien 'stole' that got him taken out of school? lila had taken it and thrown it in the trash. i obviously took it and returned it when i realized that adrien had gotten in trouble and he was able to get back but i tried to expose lila more from then on to show you guys

designergirl: anyway when it came to when i was expelled, lila had threatened me in the bathroom, saying she was going to take away all my friends and i nearly got akumatized but i obviously couldn't give up

designergirl: and adrien knew she was lying to since ladybug had come by and exposed lila in front of him so we kept quiet for a while, but i did try to point it out. lila came back and framed me with the test, she walked down the staircase and started yelling (saying that i had pushed her) and put the necklace in my locker.

designergirl: then, i nearly got akumatized again (which btw doesn't that seem a bit suspicious that lila had sort of set up that entire interaction?? not blaming her for working with hawkmoth since that's really serious but still isn't great) but she got me expelled and then i got back to school a few days later with no explanation other than she had created this 'lying disease'. i thought that she had come around and was a good person so i hoped we could become friends but she just glared and walked away.

designergirl: so yeah

Ladybug: Adrien... you said the photoshoots with her were annoying... in what way?

perfume ad: Well, she's just really touchy and doesn't listen to the photagrapher. 

perfume ad: She's always trying to make it look like we're a couple or something.

Ladybug: ... that's considered sexual harassment

Sabrina: Correct! I checked with my dad, and she could get sued by Gabriel for that!

perfume ad: What??

perfume ad: It's fine, I've dealt with that sort of stuff, with being a model

Ladybug: have you told lila to stop?

perfume ad: Yeah, but she says that the 'chemistry' will help the photoshoot.

Ladybug: that's sexual harassment.

Detective Wifi: do you think we could contact her mom?

Detective Wifi: or is that overkill

dangerous: I don't think that would be 'overkill'. 

dangerous: My mother works with embassadors quite often. I could ask her of the contact of a friend's parent saying I am 'concerned' for Lie-la's wellbeing.

dangerous: After all, you did say she had multiple illnesses, correct?

perfume ad: Now do you think it was a bad idea for me to add them??

perfume ad: Perfect, Kagami!

Detective Wifi: yes, sunshine, you were completely correct

Detective Wifi: and kagami, that would be amazing

nath: can you send me a list of all the injuries/illnesses she said she had?

nath: i barely pay attention to her

Alya got up earlier than usual to check her phone, eager with anticipation of the day's events. She had definitely tried to calm down the day before so that she wouldn't attract an akuma, but putting all of her energy in the plan seemed to distract her brain, and thus, no akumatized villains appeared the night before.

Marinette Protection Squad:

Detective Wifi: do we have everything?

perfume ad: I talked with my father

perfume ad: for like the first time all month

perfume ad: But Lila's fired.

Detective Wifi: knew you had it in you

imbetterthankim: kim, max, markov and i are at school already

imbetterthankim: we got all the footage

imbetterthankim: max is transferring it onto a flash drive rn

kitty: thomas made a short video saying he didn't know lila

kitty: bugaboo and i will be on akuma standby during the confrontation

kitty: hawkmoth will want to send out an akuma anyway by now

Detective Wifi: and nino and i will be filming the whole thing

Ladybug: what did i say about calling me bugaboo

Ladybug: and yes, we'll be there!

kitty: sorry m'lady

Queen Bee: I have the video of XY, Clara Nightingale, and Prince Ali

Detective Wifi: and jagged stone??

Queen Bee: calm down 

Queen Bee: i explained the situation to him

Queen Bee: and he said something about 'honorary niece' and 'no way'

Queen Bee: long story short he wants to come to the school

Queen Bee: and rub it in lie-la's face by offering dupain-cheng another commission

Queen Bee: which is ridiculous but i couldn't convince him to do anything else!

Sabrina: My dad has been alerted as well! He'll be coming by for patrol and is currently working on the stuff with Adrien's dad!

Detective Wifi: this is even better than i could have ever imagined

Ladybug: marinette's getting another commission?!

Ladybug: from Jagged Stone?!?!

Detective Wifi: yess my girl's so talented

Ladybug: that's so amazing! congrats to her!

nath: my parents have confirmed that lila should be dead by now

nath: which, i mean, i wouldn't really mind

nath: but it's not physically possible to have that many injuries and illnesses and still operate in a public school

nath: there's also no such thing as this lying disorder

nath: she's just a pathological liar which means she should probably be put in an asylum 

dangerous: I was able to contact Lila Rossi's mother.

dangerous: She is quite angry and is headed to the school.

kitty: i'll stop her on the way there

kitty: give us some time to get a dramatic entrance

designergirl: wtf alya

ladyblogger: YOU WILL NOT BE LATE TO SCHOOL TODAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

ladyblogger: YES SERIOUSLY DO YOU WANT TO SEE LIELA CRASH AND BURN

designergirl: omw to the school now

Mylène: Ivan and I have kept track of all the money we've donated to her 'charities'

Mylène: I can't believe we fell for it!

rose <3: it's alright mylene it wasn't our fault

rose <3: well we didn't listen to marinette

rose <3: but that's our lesson learned! and we've made it up to her

Detective Wifi: our girl is on her way to school rn

marc :): sabrina said we could technically sue lila for defamation

marc :): but i rlly don't want to deal with legal stuff

Sabrina: I can tell my dad and he can handle it! Lila shouldn't be able to get away with this!!

marc :): cool :)

imbetterthankim: we showed the stuff to ms bustier

imbetterthankim: she said we can take over the class for the morning

imbetterthankim: dude we got the teachers on our side

Nino: and paris superheroes

Nino: there's literally nowhere for lila to go

nath: we literally have her MOM on our side

Detective Wifi: i can't wait to see how she's gonna try and get out of it

Detective Wifi: k i see mari

Marinette skidded around the steps, shoving the rest of a croissant in her mouth as she looked for her best friend. Really, she shouldn't have known about the plan, but it wasn't her fault that they had decided to add Ladybug to the 'Marinette Protection Squad'.

She was quite flattered.

Especially when reading Chat and Adrien's little... argument. 

But most of all, she was ready to see, as Alya put it, Lie-la crash and burn.

And apparently she had gotten another commission from Jagged Stone??

"Hey, girl!" came a familiar voice from her side, and her face lit up at the sight of her best friend. Alya was tucking away her phone, and Marinette could suspect that she had just been texting the group chat. She had checked and double-checked and triple-checked the plan, and there was physically no possible way that Lila would be able to get out of this.

Just as she was about to respond to Alya, maybe reacting to her text seeing as she wasn't supposed to know about the plan, a falsely sweet voice came from behind her.

"Hi, Alya! You won't believe what happened last night!"

Haha. Definitely. Seeing as Alya now knew she was a liar, she definitely wouldn't believe it.

"Of course, girl! Marinette, Lila, let's get to class early!" Alya pulled both of their hands towards the classroom. Normally, Marinette would probably jerk away and try and get away from Lila, but this was a part of the plan, and she would be kidding herself if she said that she didn't want to see it.

So, she let herself listen to Lila rambling, now talking about how she had had a picnic with Ladybug the other night, complete with delicious pastries, silently making jabs at Marinette's own bakery.

Nino joined their group half the way there, standing on the other side of Lila.

And then they entered the classroom.

Marinette did her best expression of looking shocked, for once having to be the actress rather than Lila. 

Alix, Kim, and Max were standing at the frong (Markov floating right next to them), glaring so sharply at Lila that if looks could kill, she would be six feet underground. Then, there was Principle Damocles and Ms. Bustier, both looking slightly bashful but still angry at Lila, as well as Nathaniel sitting in the first seat with a stack of papers in front of him. Mylène, Ivan, Juleka, and Rose were all sitting in their own seats, also furious at the Italian.

Lila looked like she was about to say something when Chloé burst through the door waving her own flash drive through the air and setting it on the desk, with Sabrina promptly following her with another stack of papers, though it was organized in a teal binder.

"W-what's going on?" Lila finally gasped, looking at Alya for reassurance, only to see that she was glaring at her as well.

Without speaking, Max clicked on the keypad, the security footage of the day Marinette was expelled being displayed on the screen. The audio wasn't heard, as Lila had been speaking to quietly, but they could clearly see the girl wearing orange walking slowly down the stairs before putting on the display of being injured. 

"That can't be true!" Lila wailed, "It must have been altered! Marinette must have done this -"

The screen changed, and it was now Lila telling Ms. Bustier something that caused her to leave the room before swiftly stealing a paper off of her desk, and placing it in the pink bag by the second row.

It changed again, and Lila was taking a fox-tail necklace out of her bag, looking around the room to make sure no one was watching, before opening a locker, Marinette's locker, and placing the necklace in.

The screen turned black.

Lila was looking around frantically, apparantly still playing the victim. "Y-you can't believe this! Marinette h-has been bullying m-me ever since I s-started here!" and she was crying fake tears, only this time there was no sympathy from the audience.

Chloé stood up and plugged her own flash drive in, and the screen once again showed videos.

The first was XY, stating he had no idea who 'Lila Rossi' was and that all of his music was 'totally original'. Then came Prince Ali, once again saying he didn't know who Lila was and claiming that he only did children's charities, finally suing Lila for defamation. He ended it with a brief 'hello' to Rose, who promptly blushed and squealed before returning to the topic at hand. And last out of the celebrities was Clara Nightingale, who, in full rhymes, said she didn't know Lila and said it was rude to claim the work of celebrities.

Lila was still crying, occasionally glancing for any sign of the others feeling bad for her.

"I can't believe they would say this! I did work with them and -"

"Ms. Rossi," Principle Damocles cut in with a firm tone, "You are aware that you not only framed another student to get her expelled, but missed months of school due to a trip that never happened?"

"I was in Achu!" Lila insisted, "The videos must be fake -"

Markov flew to the front and said, "All videos have been checked to find that there were no alterations and that they are 100% authentic."

Lila could tell she was scraping the bottom there.

Marinette had to stop herself from laughing out loud.

But it wasn't even the end.

A man with bright purple hair, Jagged Stone, followed by an eager crocodile and exasperated assistant came walking in. Penny talked to Lila about the suing as Jagged took great pleasure in offering his next commission to his honorary neice, who really didn't think it could actually get any better.

But it did.

Adrien came bursting through the door with a proud smirk (one that Marinette found way too similar to her partner for her liking), once again entering with a bunch of papers (was everyone just bringing those in?)

"You're fired," he said simply, dropping the papers in Lila's hands.

Lila dropped the papers out of shock. "W-what, but I'm Gabriel's muse -"

"And sued," Adrien continued, "for sexual harassment. You're on orders to stay as far away from me as possible."

Marinette checked the time; she had about five minutes before she would have to arrive in her superhero form.

"S-sexual harassment?! This has to be some sort of misunderstanding -"

"Are we giving away our papers now?" Nathaniel asked in a louder voice than usual, "Because here's a list of every single illness and injury you've claimed to have, the actual definitions of all those illnesses, how long you should have been in the hospital for them, and proof that several of them don't even exist. You're just a pathelogical liar, no disease involved." He, instead, placed the papers on the desk next to her.

"And here are all of the forms that my dad filled out!" Sabrina chirped up, bringing her binder to the front. She cleared her throat and began to read, "You've been sued by Bob Roth Records, the Kingdom of Achu, Clara Nightingale, Jagged Stone, Gabriel Agreste, Audrey Bourgeois, Thomas Astruc, Mylène Haprèle and Ivan Bruel, and Marc and Nathaniel's comics for defamation, sexual harassment, and charity fraud."

Lila had stopped trying to say anything.

Marinette had to stop herself from crying of happiness.

Adrien slipped out of the door after opening it to a furious ambassador.

"LILA DOLORES ROSSI!"

As much as Marinette would have loved to see it, she slipped out of the door, heading to the bathroom to transform.

Just on time, she met Chat Noir outside the door to the classroom.

"After you, m'lady," he said with a wink, but Marinette was too ecstatic to reprimand him. The screaming inside didn't seem to die down, so they only looked through the window of the door, trying not to attract attention. An akuma would most likely be arriving at any moment.

And so it did.

Chat Noir had been the one to spot the purple and black butterfly (Marinette was way too interested in the yelling match between the mother and daughter), and they burst through the door.

If it was possible, Lila grew paler.

However, she caught sight of the akuma and grinned, thinking it would be her chance out.

She had only dug the whole deeper.

It happened in slow motion: Lila leaped up, hands outreached to grab the akuma. Mrs. Rossi grabbed her other arm, pulling her back. Alya and Nino recorded. Ladybug threw her yoyo around Lila, pulling her back. Chat Noir called his cataclysm and destroyed the akuma.

It was silent for a moment before Sabrina spoke up.

"In addition to willingly aiding a terrorist, your charges could get you banned from Paris, or even France as a whole."

Lila's past sadness and fear turned to pure anger as she struggled against the yoyo, not even able to create complete sentences as she tried to take out her frustration at Ladybug.

Needless to say, Lila was never seen again.
