Summary
Inspired by The Bells of Notre Dame.
It's the later 1890's, and amidst a rumbling city off the North Eastern coast of the United States sits the Cathedral of St. Bridgett. Built over the course of nearly 200 years to represent the salvation of sin the city was founded on, it holds a dark secret in its highest towers. Although a place of sanctuary, it is said that there is a monster hiding within its walls that nobody has ever truly seen.
Hank Anderson works for the local law, but doubles down on the side as a con artist and thief. He has no sense of faith, and feels betrayed and abandoned by a God he doesn't even believe in. However, when his gambling and addictions catch up with him, he finds himself seeking sanctuary in the Cathedral of St. Bridgett. Here is where he meets that infamous monster the lurks St. Bridgett's halls... only... he isn't nearly as horrible as the stories say.
That is if you never touch his hands.
