No one ever knew Kaeya quite like Diluc did.
There was something there lurking beneath the surface, something sinister in his teeth, a heavy shadow casted by a halo that burned just a little too bright. It was always inviting, too inviting for reasons Diluc never knew. This is something no one else could see and that sinking feeling never faded.
“You’ll always be my brother, Diluc.” Kaeya cradles Diluc’s head and tips it to the side, exposing his neck. “And you’ll always love me for what I’ve done to you.”
