Work Text:
In a dark room, a TV lied.
Silent, still and dead for all time.
On the front of the TV, lie the buttons once used to power on, change channels and turn it off.
It was once a lively device within the city, used for bringing to life the countless shows and channels to entertain the folks of this once filled apartment building.
Now it's just sitting in the remains of this place, rotting like the rest of this damn city.
Not to be used by anyone else again, anyone living really.
It remained that way for years to come.
A door that rested on the right side of the TV opened.
Two small children entered the room with the TV.
One of them wore a yellow raincoat, the other a trench coat and a bag over his head.
They searched around the room without a plan in mind.
The boy noticed the TV and began approaching it.
The girl recoiled and ran over to the boy, grabbed his arm and tried to pull him back.
However, it was all for nothing as the boy pulled away from her and made it to the TV.
He turned the on dial on the TV, making the device spring to life after so many years.
The screen lights up, the image of a door appears. It slowly opens, a hand grabs the frame.
And I appear from the door, reaching my hands from the screen, ready to grab the children. To stop this endless loop from continuing after the sixth one from the actions of the girl, Six.
