   Summary

   Daryl takes care of Rick's children when he isn't able to and Merle saves Carl leading to unexpected feelings.
   The change in the status quo of the leaders shakes the group but they have to accept it along with the Dixons and of course, there's trouble ahead.

   Just one shot – I hope you like. I just had this idea and had to write it down. I may have changed some details of what happened in Season 4 but oh well, never mind and Merle might be OC but that's the whole point of this story.
