    Summary

Letter to the Editors of Butter Magazine,

Longtime reader, first-time writer. I have loved reading your publication for decades. It was the one cultural touchstone that I was able to hold in my hands, the one social tether that I could grasp to pull my way out of my tiny, toxic town. You helped me become part of something bigger. And so it is with great love and admiration that I have to tell you that your work as of late has been, for lack of a better word, uninspiring. Boring. Derivative. What happened to the forward-thinking magical book that arrived in my mailbox every week? Why has Butter lost its sheen? Hoping that this lands meaningfully rather than painfully with you. You haven’t lost this reader, but I’m calling to check up on you.

    Signed,

    Nobody Likes Bland Butter

When Director (and secret, unrequited love of your life) Kim Namjoon reads this, he knows he’s going to have to shake things up in the Creative department and challenge everyone to evolve. Fellow photographer Min Yoongi doesn’t particularly like challenges, but whenever he’s been faced with a challenge, he’s made it his own. And You’re proving to be one of the greatest challenges he’s faced in quite a while.
