Summary:
When had he started to love Changqing? He didn’t know. It would be like asking him when he learned to breathe, or when he decided that he liked the feeling of the sun warming his face. Maybe he had always loved Changqing, even as a child, and it was only when he grew older that he realized this childhood crush had evolved into something else altogether, something that he did not understand, was afraid to even begin understanding.
(Ye Baiyi is in love with his best friend, and spends an entire lifetime yearning after something he cannot have.)
