    Holy cow... what a fic.
    Even though the snippets are so short, so much is conveyed in there. The narration flows nicely and yet speaks of desperation and will. The characterization of Tanaka is probably the biggest highlight of this fic. I really like how the story draws out and highlights Tanaka's brother-like traits, like his protectiveness and loyalty.
