"Birthday boy!" Mark keep repeating and Renjun let out a quiet laugh behind the camera at Jeno's cute expression at being called the new nickname he randomly got during his birthday.
Their little interview continued as they talked about their feelings regarding their showcase, and them answering the usual questions for interviews they did backstage. It was cut short when Chenle and Jisung called Mark over to help them with some things Renjun didn't get to hear.
Jeno then turn towards Renjun, and held his hand out as a silent invitation to join him for the interview next. Renjun did not hesitate to take Jeno's hand and put his arm around Jeno's shoulder as a sign of friendly gesture, as their every action is being recorded and he didn't want to risk getting scolded by their manager again for not being ‘careful’. Jeno however, has another plan in mind as he wrap his arm around Renjun's waist and pull him into a quick spin to engulf him in a hug. Used to Jeno's hold on him, Renjun wrapped his arms around Jeno instinctively.
"If it's like this, am I also getting interviewed?"
The cameraman, who's a close hyung of theirs as he is one of NCT Dream usual film crew, gave a good natured laugh in return.
Jeno's smile did not fell as he look at Renjun in affection, still holding him tightly in his embrace. "Yeah. Let's do it like this."
Embarrassed, Renjun tapped his shoulder. "Jeno." He gave him a quiet scolding playfully. “We're going to get scolded. Again.”
Jeno laughed, just happy to have his boyfriend in his arms. “It's okay, they are gonna edit this out anyways.”
Renjun sighed. He can never win against Jeno's affection, he’s utterly weak for it. Especially since he’s feeling kind of tired while preparing for their stage, and the tiredness intensified his need for affection even more.
The cameraman cleared his throat. “So, your showcase?”
Renjun, half feeling embarrassed, and half thankful that it’s someone who did knew about them so he can spare the questioning look, immediately pushed himself away from temptation (read: Jeno) and begin to talk about their stage, and how they prepared for it.
Jeno – who always find Renjun flustered cute – then focus his attention to listen to what Renjun is saying. Listening to Renjun talking is one of his most favourite thing to do, as Renjun always has his way with words and well, Jeno is enchanted.
Donghyuck, who’s watching the whole scene with Jaemin somewhere behind the cameraman, muttered under his breath, “Can they be any more obvious?”
“I know right. I can actually feel Jeno's love all the way over here.” Jaemin replied.
Mark, Chenle and Jisung who overheard their conversation, also turn to look at Renjun and Jeno. Mark let out a laugh, and Chenle and Jisung snickers.
“The manager is gonna tell them to stand five feet apart in front of the camera again.” Chenle voiced out, and everyone laughed, and the sound grabbed Renjun and Jeno's attention, which make them narrow their eyes on their friends.

"Why? They're cute."
"Ah you're new here. Uh, the management always asked us to limit their interaction on cam, it's like a rule, somehow."
"Oh. Are they like, together?"
"I don't really know, to be honest."
"Well, I say we keep this, they look cute."
"What about the company?"
"Whatever, I'm taking one for the team."
