Summary
Every summer in July, all across the nation, a new crop of surgical interns would be put through their paces in a multitude of ways that ranged from exhilarating to downright torture. This year, Castiel Novak is determined to be the best intern that the attendings at Stanford Medical Center have ever seen. In order to win the chance to scrub in and show off his skills, Cas knows that he will have to win the annual Intern Trivia Bowl, put on by the surgical staff for the newly minted doctors. Unfortunately, their team is one player short. When his fellow intern, Sam Winchester, offers up his brother, Dean, as a ringer, Castiel is skeptical, but nevertheless agrees. All it takes is one look at Dean Winchester, and suddenly, Castiel is thinking about something other than his career for the very first time.
