Summary
Jesse McCree is used to working for Ana Amari, the head of Helix Publishing House. He's an assistant by day, and (sometimes) a writer by night. Even if Ana can be tough, she's great at helping him through his journey of finishing his novel. He thinks he's been through all he can in Helix, until Ana leaves for vacation and puts Gabriel Reyes in charge. But he is still working for his publishing house, Dorado (even if he's not supposed to). Of course, Jesse would never talk about his novel with Gabriel, but when he goes to a place that thrives on sex to do some novel research under Genji's advice, he encounters none other than his new boss. Jesse is not new to sex, he just doesn't do the whole rope, leather and cuffs thing, but finding out Reyes does wakes up more than his curiosity.
Next thing he knows, Jesse ends up in Gabriel's apartment, being fucked senseless as he's tied to the bed. Because it turns out running one publishing house is hard enough, add another to help a friend. Reyes is a very stressful man who needs to relief that tension and if it ends up being with the cute but impulsive, smartass, bratty assistant so be it.
