Work Text:

"Dude, seriously, what the fuck are you doing?" Joseph shifted on the couch, stretched out on his back, laptop resting on his stomach as he scrolled through twitter. He frowned as his lower back popped, then sighed, turning his attention to the offensively blond boy on the carpet beneath him.

Caesar had spread around him a multitude of sharpies and bleach pens, along with a pair of scissors and a pile of black and white tshirts from some multipack he probably got at Walmart, all of which he had just unceremoniously dumped onto the floor before planting himself in the middle of the mess. Joseph didn’t appreciate the pile, and was already eyeing an uncapped sharpie laying on the white carpet with suspicion.

"The guys wanted a new shirt design." Caesar said simply, grabbing a white shirt from the tangle in front of him and spreading it on the ground, snatching up the marker and began to sketch lines into the fabric. "We’re all gonna make one then vote on it." Joseph shut his laptop before sitting up to look over the mess at a better angle.

"Wouldn’t be easier to just draw it on paper first?"

Caesar looked over his shoulder to send the larger boy a glare, before turning back to his work. “Sketching it one paper doesn’t let me know how it would look on a shirt, and besides, what if I wanted to wear my design whether or not it was voted for?” Witch a surprisingly steady hand, Caesar began to sketch out a series of arcs that slowly took the form of the long headband, sorry, bandanna, that he seemed to keep on him at all times, and the namesake for the band.

Joseph watched him, feeling bored, stifling a yawn. ”Drawing your ribbon thingy?”

The sharpie was struck across Joseph’s face faster than he could react, him yelping and jumping to his feet, quickly rubbing where he had felt the cold touch of the ink. “Caesar what the fuck!?” He demanded, stepping past Caesar to go down the hall to the small half bathroom there, flipping on the light and his face falling when he saw a bold black line streaking across his cheek and over his nose. “You asshole!!” He called, running the water in the sink and squirting some of the soap on the side into his hand, trying to wash the black away. Most of it came off, but there was still a noticeable grey line left behind.

Caesar smirked to himself, hearing Joseph’s voice make echoing complaints, finishing up the first shirt design in the time that he had disapeared. He was holding up the finished piece when Joseph finally reemerged. “I don’t know about this one, Joseph put this on I wanna see how it looks,” He said, holding the shirt out to his boyfriend, who grabbed it away then threw it across the room. Caesar frowned, trying hard to not grin.

"My god, Jojo, what happened to your face-"

Joseph got down onto one knee, then two, on level with Caesar.

"-It looks like you sprayed yourself with ink-"

Joseph grabbed Caesar’s shoulders and pushed him backwards, Caesar putting up little resistance as Joseph clambered on top of him, pinning his arms down, glaring, but the anger ruined by the stupid grey line that streaked across his face. Jojo had also missed some of the soap in his washing, and had some bubbles in his hair line and on his jaw. Caesar grinned,

"You missed a spot."

Joseph’s lips crashed into Caesar’s, one of Caesar’s teeth hit his lip but he didn’t care. They kissed, Caesar moving his arms against Joseph’s grip. Joseph let go of him, and Caesar reach up immediately, wrapping his arms around his shoulders, pulling Joseph down, and himself up. Joseph smirked into the kiss, moving his lips to Caesar’s jaw then throat.

Caesar let Joseph suck and nip his way across his skin, red bruise sure to bloom within the hour, before he decided he’d let him have enough time to have fun. With skill, Caesar hooked his leg around Joseph’s, pushing it and forcing Joseph to fall to the side, then rolling him, so now Caesar was on the one over top, and Joseph was breathless underneath, looking up at Caesar in annoyance. It only lasted for a moment before their lips met again.
