Work Text:
It was a nice Sunday afternoon when little Nana went for a walk.
The sun was shining bright and the sky was crystal clear.
On his little adventure he found many interesting things.
Some cool looking rocks and weirdly formed branches,
some beautiful colored flowers and loud singing birds.
While he kept looking around he found something that catches his attention more than anything before.
It was a boy sitting close to the river.
He seemed to be all by himself.
Nana looked left and right but he couldn't find anyone even close.
Slowly he walked to the small figure.
Careful to not make any sound.
He raised his hand hesitantly and tapped the others shoulder lightly.
The small boy turned his head around.
He looked confused at him.
"Hi! I'm Nana,“ Nana stated with a bright smile reaching out his hand to shake the others hand.
The boy looked even more confused but took Nana's hand slowly.
"I'm Nono," he said quietly.
Nana started to smile brighter.
"What a nice name," he said giggling before he let go of Nono's hand.
Nono smiled softly and looked shyly back to the river.
Nana sat down right next to Nono and looked at the boy's face as if it was the first one he ever saw.
Nono turned his head back to Nana with a questioning expression.
"Is something wrong with my face, Nana?"
Nana chuckled before pointing at something underneath Nono’s eye:
"You have a dot there."
Nono blinked a few times confused before realizing what Nana meant.
"I know," he said with a pout, "but I can't remove it no matter how often I clean my face."
Nono started rubbing his face where the "dot" was located.
Nana immediately grabbed Nono's hand to stop him from rubbing the dot away.
"Stop, Nono. It looks beautiful! You should keep that dot!"
Nono looked at Nana with big eyes.
"Really?"
Nana started to nod very fast which made Nono smile that much that his eyes turned into moon like crescents.
Without hesitation, Nono hugged the other happily.
"Thank you Nana!"
