Summary
The referee grabs Raven’s hand and holds it up, leading the crowd in a victory cheer. Raven’s nose is bloody, and Hinata notices gashes and bruises on his chest. This probably isn’t Raven’s first time competing in an underground boxing match, and based on his fluid motions and refined skills, he has probably seen more injuries than Hinata ever will.
Many thoughts run through Hinata’s mind, and they stay with him for the rest of the night, even after Hinata steps off the bus and waves goodbye to Nishinoya before disappearing into his dorm room.
Raven is nothing short of incredible, Hinata thinks. Nishinoya was right—seeing Raven in action has given Hinata a whole new appreciation for boxing, and he is brimming with excitement. Hinata can’t wait for tomorrow.
