The Risen One

Summary:

A passerby could easily tell that this little boy has had a rough day. For one Izuku Midoriya, this is an understatement of the century. It started with him being bullied by his childhood friend, the sneers, the jabs, the burns. Izuku didn't think anything could hurt worse than the burns. But sure enough, fate decided to prove him wrong, when he came back home... What was left of it anyway. His entire apartment complex was gone, as was his mom. He knows no one would want to adopt the little quirkless boy, so he accepts his fate as homeless... That is until he finds a mysterious man.

Notes:

This is my first fanfic, so please don't leave any negativity, I am just doing this for fun and currently do not have a specific update schedule.

Chapter 1: The one where everything begins

Chapter Text

It's raining today. Fitting really, considering what's happening to me. No this isn't really happening, this is just a nightmare right! When I wake up I'll be with Mommy again! She'll hug me and cook Katsudon to cheer me up I know she will!
Who am I kidding, I can feel the rain on me, I can feel the dampness of my clothes, and I can feel my tears blending in with the rain. I should find shelter first, then I can cry all I want. Maybe I can go over to Auntie Mitsuki's house and beg Kaachan to forgive me for being such a Deku. Maybe then I can stay over... No, I don't want to be a burden to them. I should probably just find some abandoned building to protect me from the rain.
As I was walking along the streets, I hear something coming from the alley
*Squish*
"..." That didn't sound too good, maybe I should run away. NO A hero wouldn't run away, so I shouldn't run away either!
Then as I steeled myself to walk towards the sound, I suddenly hear a raspy voice.
"Who's there?"
Ok, all I need to do is muster up the courage to confront h... Is that blood?
There lying on the floor is a crimson liquid Izuku very much could've gone without seeing again today. The sight of it brings him back to his mo- NO SNAP OUT OF IT! The only thing I should be concerned about is that there is a killer that knows that I'm here andwhatwillIdoiftheydecidetimakemetherenextvictimorIcouldmaybegetawaybeforetheynoti-
"Hey there kid, mind if we have a little chat about what you just saw?"
"..." Welp, this is quite the situation that I've managed to get myself into.
