Work Text:
"HAHAHAHA!"
The laughter penetrated through his earphone, beating the voice of the character in his drama. Jaehyun instantly glanced to the side, to Youngtaek's table which had been taken over by Jibeom for the last two hours.
He bit his lips to conceal his laughter. The drama he's currently watching was showing fighting scene, and one of the character was currently dying, but Jibeom's unrestraint laughter had never failed to make him laugh as well.
Too bad he couldn't see Jibeom's crescent eyes and popping cheeks because the man was facing his huge ass monitor. Jaehyun's smile faded, and his lips formed a pout.
"Ya Taewoo, what are you doing? Kill him! He's running away!"
Strings of words in satoori came out fluently from Jibeom's mouth. Although Jaehyun was still annoyed, but he still paused his drama and silently stared at Jibeom's back and listened to his voice.
Aside from some slip ups, Jibeom had always talked in Seoul dialect ever since they met. That's why listening to Jibeom talking in satoori always made him fascinated. Jibeom had never looked so adorable when he's laughing freely like that.
"Ya! Run! Woojin-ah, you're really sucks in this. Hahahaha!"
Jaehyun sighed loudly, silently hoping he'll catch Jibeom's attention, but of course Jibeom didn't notice. The man had been ignoring him since morning. It made Jaehyun upset.
It was their holiday. He and Jibeom both had no schedule, no lesson, no practice, and Jaehyun had been looking forward to that day. Some members went back home, some had schedule, Youngtaek went to company to do something in the studio and Bomin was busy with university assignments. Since it'll be just the two of them, he had planned to go somewhere with Jibeom and eat good food.
But Jibeom being a bummer he was, refused to go with him because he wanted to play online game with his friends.
Jibeom chose his friends and stupid game over him and Jaehyun was not happy. What's more upsetting was Jaehyun wanted to play together with them, but Jibeom told him no. Jibeom said he's suck at games and he'll die fast anyway.
But this Woojin guy also sucks but Jibeom wanted to play with him. Not fair.
Suddenly he's not in the mood to watch drama. He closed his MacBook and placed it aside, then continued to laze around on Youngtaek's bed while playing with his phone. He's humming, or rather singing random songs quite loudly, but Jibeom was like deaf from other sound that wasn't his friends' voice or the sound from the game.
Jaehyun was bored and hungry, and if Jibeom was not being annoying, he would have full with delicious food from a new cafe in Hannam-dong.
"Wait, I'm going to get some drink."
Jaehyun's ears perked up when he heard Jibeom's voice. He quietly stared at Jibeom who finally peeled his butt from the chair. The man took his headset off and walked out from the room. It looked like Jibeom didn't even realize his presence in the room. His eyes then shifted to the headset on the table and suddenly he had an idea.
Jaehyun threw his phone aside and excitedly ran to the chair and sat there. After that he took the set and put it on his head. Immediately, voices talking in satoori greeted his ears. Jibeom's friends were chatting animatedly.
For a while, he hesitated, but decided that it's not wrong to be friendly.
"Hello!" He said through the mic.
Suddenly there was a brief silence, before a voice asked. "Who is this?" Jibeom's friend sounded flustered and Jaehyun giggled. He found the situation funny.
"Hello! This is Jaehyun," He said again, this time attempting to talk in satoori.
"Jaehyun? Who- Oh!" Another voice asked confusedly.
Jaehyun giggled again. "Have you eaten?"
"Hello Jaehyun-sshi! I heard a lot of you from Jibeom."
Jaehyun's face brightened. "Really? Jibeom? Talk about me?"
"Yes."
"Did he say nice things?"
"Ya! What are you doing??"
Jaehyun gasped and immediately took his headset off. He found Jibeom stood on the door, holding a bottle of cold water while staring at him in horror.
Jaehyun bit his lips. Jibeom looked surprised, and surprisingly angry.
"I was..Just greeting your friend," He stammered, suddenly felt small under Jibeom's glare.
Jaehyun swore Jibeom almost growled when his roommate for 4 years pushed him aside and slammed his water bottle on the desk.
"Don't touch my things."
Jaehyun gaped in shock. It hurt and so upsetting. He literally shared almost everything. Jibeom used his ipad, his treatment lotions, but he couldn't used his headset for a while?
"Why are you so angry?" He pushed Jibom back in annoyance, bit the man didn't even budge. Jibeom only stared hard at him.
"Just leave."
The anger dissipated and Jaehyun was completely engulfed with pain. He didn't used to get Jibeom's cold glare. It hurt more than he'd ever imagine.
"N-no fun," Jaehyun grumbled and stormed out from the room quickly. He pretended to be okay, but he's in the verge of tears. Jibeom looked so angry and he didn't know why. He might have talked to Jibeom's friends without permission. But it wasn't something bad right?
He was just about to pass through the door, but he remembered something. He walked back without glancing at Jibeom, took his phone and wallet.
Fine.
Jibeom could be angry all he want. Why did he even care and why did he bother about Jibeom? He should just go out and have fun by himself.
Donghyun came back to the dorm right when Jaehyun was putting his shoes on. Seemed like he had just came back from company.
"Oh, Jaehyun-ah, you're going out?" The dancer asked.
"Yeah," He answered shortly.
Donghyun noticed the foul mood but just shrugged it off. He'd been living with 9 other people in the dorm for years, he'd used to deal with each of their quirks. Jaehyun won't be mad for a long time anyway.
"Have fun then."
"Stop!"
Donghyun who was in the middle of taking his shoes off, froze and looked at the taller man. "Huh?"
Jaehyun straightened up. "You've finished your schedule right?"
"Yeah?" Donghyun answered confusedly, still frozen on his position.
"Wear your shoes back, we're going out."
"Huh? But-"
"i'll treat you lunch, come on."
"But I want to play kart-"
"Come on! I've always been good to you right? You can play after we go back."
"Ya, Bong Jaehyun!" Donghyun fought back. "I want to play now."
Donghyun suddenly stopped talking when Jaehyun glowered dangerously in front of him. He sighed. Jaehyun could be so stubborn and he's not in the mood to fight. "Okay. But I can order anything I want and you pay for everything."
"Deal," Jaehyun answered without missing a beat.
Jaehyun must be in a very foul mood, Donghyun thought.
*
"Hey guys, sorry for what happened just now," Jibeom said after putting his headset back.
His friends laughed.
"Why are you apologizing? I was so surprised though."
"That's really the Bong Jaehyun?"
"Yeah," Jibeom quietly answered. "Let's start again."
"He's cute," Inseong chuckled. "But his satoori sucks."
"Hey, Jibeom, why don't you ask him to join us?" Jinyoung suddenly said out of the blue.
"He went out just now," He replied flatly. "Come on let's back to the game."
His friends laughed and Jinyoung must be disappointed, but they didn't argue. However, Jibeom couldn't concentrate. His mind drifted to the time when he went back to Busan for holiday.
It's been a long time since he went home and meet his old friends. He missed his family and friends, spent his precious 1 week holiday to the fullest. His parents took him to relatives' houses and just on the 5th day of holiday, he got to meet with his friends.
They met in a cafe owned by a Taewoo's family and spent the whole day just talked and play games.
"Hi, sorry I'm late."
Jibeom looked up and his smiled brightly. "Hey, Jinyoungie, you're finally here."
"Nice to see you, Jibeom-ah. You look like celebrity now." They shared a fist bump like they usually did in middle school.
"I didn't look like a celebrity before?" He pretended to be hurt.
"You look like my neighbor’s son," Youngmin chimed in and they all laughed.
Jinyoung was one among his circle of friends during middle school. He was a handsome and kind friend, one of his besties although he lately lost contact since Jinyoung entered military right after high school.
"You're like a real soldier," He commented as he observed that Jinyoung's bulky and fit body. "Is military that hard?"
Jinyoung shrugged. "It's alright. We have to follow exact schedules every day and the drills are exhausting. But you'll get used to it after a few months."
They then each talked and updating each other with their own lives, until Taewoo suddenly asked him.
"When will you come here with your members? Do you have plan for that?"
Jibeon shrugged. "So far there's no plan about it. Even if I come here with them, it must be work related and I don't think I can meet you guys."
"Ah, that's a pity," Taewoo nudged Jinyoung's arm, the man sent teasing smile to the soldier.
Jibeom found the gesture a little bit odd. "Why?"
Woojin laughed while Jinyoung groaned. "You guys are annoying."
Jibeom started to get confused. "Hey, tell me what I don't know."
"We're watching your show like a month ago, and Jinyoung has a crush with one of the member," Inseong dropped the bomb and everyone except Jinyoung laughed.
"Really??" Jibeom's eyes rounded with curiosity and excitement. "Jinyoung?? The one who had never showed interest in dating?"
Jinyoung sent him a wry look and shook his head to his other three friends. "You guys are annoying. And it's not a crush, I just find him cute."
"Says the one who bought his photo card," Woojin teased Jinyoung, earning a smack on his back. But it didn't stop the others to tease him.
"Ya, Jinyoung-ah, while Jibeom is here, you should ask for his number," Taewoo chimed in.
"Wait wait, guys," Jibeom said. "Jinyoung, you were so popular, and among of all people who are interested in you, you like a crackhead. Really? Tell me which crackhead you're interested in?"
His friends laughed and Jinyoung scoffed. "You're the crackhead, Jibeom-ah."
"Oooh.. Jinyoung won't like it you insult his favorite boy," Inseong whistled.
Jibeom chuckled. "Come on, tell me who? I might consider giving his number."
"Aish," Jinyoung rubbed his forehead. "You're making it awkward. I just like his voice and he seems like a sweet guy-"
"Ahh, just tell him already!" Inseong dramatically sighed. "It's Bong Jaehyun!"
*
"And it's not his private room! Why do I have to leave?"
Donghyun chewed his ramen quietly, half listening to Jaehyun's rant. They ended up eating in a ramen restaurant near the dorm. He ordered ramen with additional pork and a fancy dessert. Since Jaehyun paid for it and that friend was loaded, he took the chance to indulge himself. Diet can start from tomorrow.
He'd finished half of his bowl, but Jaehyun barely touched his own ramen because the man had been busy ranting.
"He's even shouting and laughing hard with his friends. I couldn't concentrate of my drama, but did I complain?"
The meat was more tougher that usual, Donghyun mused.
"I just greeted his friend. Was I wrong? Why was he so mad? Did you even listen to me?"
"How I can't hear you if you talk so loud?" The younger man flatly asked while munching his meat.
Jaehyun pouted. "Then why don't you react?"
Donghyun rolled his eyes. "Come on.. This is not the first time you fight over petty things and everytime you and Jibeom fight, the next day or a few days later you'll make up and act like married couple."
"No we're not," Jaehyun frowned.
"Yeah, and you two are not sending suggestive look to each other. You can ask everyone and they'll agree with me," Donghyun deadpanned. "Just forget it, Jaehyun-ah. You know Jibeom, if he shouts at you, maybe because he just had a bad day."
"But he was laughing and acting just fine before that," Jaehyun argued.
"Alright," Donghyun said, finally gave up and decided to entertain his friend. "So you said Jibeom was playing game with his friends. And then he went out to get a drink. Then you talked to his friend."
Jaehyun nodded.
"Why did you even talk to his friends? You're weird. Don't even talk to my friends randomly like that. Ever. Do you understand?"
Jaehyun frowned. "Why am I getting scolded?"
"You're just too random," Donghyun shook his head in resignation. "Maybe Jibeom doesn't like that you talk to his friends. Some people are like that."
"But why? I didn't say anything weird!"
"Maybe because sometimes you said random things and you often unconsciously expose things that shouldn't be exposed?" Donghyun offered, and suddenly regretted it when Jaehyun looked like a sad puppy.
"Hey," Donghyun said. He took a big piece of meat and put it on Jaehyun's plate. "Here eat this. Just enjoy the ramen and forget that weirdo. Quickly eat, your ramen must have gotten soggy."
Jaehyun just stared blankly at his food. "Jibeom also didn’t allow me to join the game. He said I'm suck at it-"
Donghyun rubbed his head, suddenly he felt tired. "See it from the bright side, Jaehyun-ah. He probably doesn't want to make you embarrassed because you'll keep on losing."
"He ignored me-"
"You know I ignore others too when I play game."
"You don't make me feel better," Jaehyun looked at him in irritation and Donghyun scoffed.
"You know I'm not good in this kind of stuff. Unfortunately only me available to hear your rants. Hurry up, stop talking and eat, I want to go home and play kart rider."
*
"Jaehyun-ah, let's eat jjajangmyeon."
Jaehyun pretended to hear, he's bopping his head along with the music from his arirpods.
"Jaehyun-ah," Jibeom nudged him and Jaehyun almost lost his cool. However, he had to keep his pride.
"What?" He coolly asked, only sparing Jibeom a short glance before shifted his attention back to his ipad.
"Let's go out and eat jjajangmyeon."
"Oh, I think I'll skip."
"Come on.. Let's go to the restaurant near the company. You love the food."
Jaehyun pursed his lips. He remembered that restaurant, they offered good food. But he shouldn't entertain Jibeom. Call him petty, he wanted to show Jibeom he did just fine without him.
"I don't feel like eating Chinese food though."
"I'll pay for it," Jibeom offered.
"Hmm.." Jaehyun took his airpods off and stood up. "No thanks. I'll eat with Donghyun."
Jibeom was left speechless as he saw Jaehyun walked pass him. Jaehyun had almost never rejected his offer, especially while giving him cold shoulder.
"Woohooo, someone's ditched!" Jangjun's loud voice woke him from shock.
Jibeom sent a glare to Jangjun. "Lee Jangjun-sshi, no one's asking for your opinion."
"What did you do to make him pissed like that huh?" Jangjun singsonged. "You used up his treatment? Or you spilled yoghurt on his bed?"
Jibeom stuck his tongue. "No I didn't."
"Then he must be annoyed looking at your face," Jangjun laughed in maniac while walking to his own room.
Jibeom was busy throwing dagger to Jangjun's back with his eyes when suddenly he heard giggles. He turned his head to the source of voice, and found Daeyeol sitting on the kitchen. The man was stirring his coffee while humming. Feeling that Jibeom was looking at him, Daeyeol looked up and met his eyes.
"Oh, I've already had lunch, Jibeom-ah. I'm sorry."
Jibeom closed his eyes in exasperation.
"I didn’t even asking you, hyung."
*
"Jaehyun-ah.."
"I'm kinda busy right now."
"Let's ride bicycle."
"Ahh.. My legs hurt. Why is the new choreo so hard?"
"Let's buy ice cream."
"But it's so cold outside."
"Let's hang out tomorrow."
"I'm going somewhere with Youngtaek hyung tomorrow."
Same thing went over and over. Jibeom had lost count how many times he got rejection. Bomin even said how could he still live after getting so much rejection. Jibeom felt like he's almost at his breaking point.
"Jaehyun-ah, where are you going? Let's grab some coffee."
Jibeom caught Jaehyun near the door one day in the evening and didn't waste the chance to ask. In the past 2 weeks, Jaehyun had been clinging to everyone except him. The man would randomly have lunch with Donghyun, leaving comments on Youngtaek's vlive, went to gym with Daeyeol and Seungmin, he even went to Joochan's room to watch the younger man paint.
That's unacceptable.
They should have serious conversation and clear whatever the problem was.
"I'm going to my parents' house now. I'm going!"
"Wait, Ja-"
Jibeom didn't even have time to retort because Jaehyun dashed out from the dorm like he'd been chased by dog and slammed the door shut.
"I see someone is in big trouble," Sungyoon said after Jibeom got rejected for the nth time. The man was crossing his arms in the middle of the living room and stared at him with accusing look. "What did you really do to piss him off like that?"
Jibeom felt intimidated when the members who were currently present at the dorm (Donghyun and Daeyeol) stared at him like he'd done unforgivable sin.
"I didn't do any-"
"Hmph," Donghyun scoffed. "Right mister, you didn't do anything, of course."
Jibeom frowned. "Ya, Kim Donghyun, what's your problem?"
He wasn't in best state so he was annoyed at Donghyun's sarcastic tone.
Donghyun just munched his curry bread and sneered at him. "You boast a lot that you were top student but you're not that bright after all."
"Jibeom-ah," Daeyeol intervened before situation get heated. "It's been 2 weeks, I think you should talk. The tension between two of you is so obvious and I'm worried it's affect the group's mood."
Jibeom sighed, finally showing his vulnerability. "I was going to. But I can't talk if he keeps on avoiding me."
Daeyeol and Sungyoon threw each other a look, like communicating silently with their eyes, and then both smiled weirdly. Jibeom shivered.
"Then you should force him to talk."
*
They're all crammed in elevator after a recording. It was tiring but the mood was bright. The recording went well and even finished earlier than they expected.
Jibeom leaned his back on the elevator wall, is eyes following Jaehyun who was standing in front, and laughing cutely at the joke Jangjun made.
He missed to have that smile directed to him. Usually he was the top three members who could make Jaehyun laugh like that.
The elevator stopped at their floor and they all went out, relieved to finally have a free time in dorm after a long schedule.
"Jaehyun-ah, wait," Daeyeol called out of the blue.
Jaehyun stopped and the members behind him walked pass him, chattering by themselves, leaving Daeyeol, Sungyoon, Jaehyun and him at the back.
"Yes, hyung?"
"You had something in your coat," Daeyeol said while dusting invincible dust on Jaehyun's back. The older man winked at Jibeom as he pulled his hand away from Jaehyun's jacket.
"Hey, hyung, I forgot we ran out of tissue paper. Let's head down to buy some," Sungyoon said, dragging Daeyeol back to the elevator.
"Oh yeah, I need to buy toothpaste too," Daeyeol giggled, a bit obvious that it was all an act, but Jaehyun being the innocent guy he was, didn't suspect anything.
"Okay hyung," Jaehyun obediently said.
Jibeom acted fast. The elevator door hadn't closed yet, and he pulled Jaehyun to the emergency stairs before the older man could run away.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Jaehyun fought back and attempted to escape but Jibeom blocked the way.
"You've been ignoring me, and I need to make everything right. We need to talk.:
Jaehyun scowled at him, but it turned cute rather than scary. Jibeom sighed tiredly.
"Listen, I've been thinking what I had done to make you ignore me. I didn't know what I did wrong before, but now I know. I was so dense and stupid, but you've never gotten angry over something trivial-"
"Trivial?" Jaehyun exclaimed in disbelieve. "You shoved me and told me to get lost just because I-"
The man stopped abruptly, and Jibeom confirmed his suspicion.
It really was because of that.
"I'm sorry."
"Huh?" Jaehyun confusedly asked as he didn't think that he'll get apology that fast and straightforward.
"I'm sorry for offending you," Jibeom repeated. "It was my fault, and I want you to know I acted like that not because you simply talked with my friends without me knowing or because you touched my headset."
Suddenly Jaehyun looked much calmer. "Then... Why were you angry?"
Jibeom licked his lips nervously. It was hard to say because nothing was official between him and Jaehyun. It was an open secret between members that he and Jaehyun had a thing going on, but they're not really a thing.
He and Jaehyun had the chemistry, and they clicked to each other so well. They were close because of their same age when they were trainees, but they had gotten even closer each year. Jaehyun had been so special to him, and he was quite sure they shared mutual feeling.
He could feel it in his bones, and Jaehyun wasn't really good in masking his feeling.
He was shy to make the first move and afraid to ruin what they had in case something went wrong. However, he thought it's time to come clean. The pain he'd been enduring in the last two weeks was torturing and this time he'll risk it.
"The thing is," He said, playing with his nape. "Jinyoung.. Uh, he was one of my friend, I just found out he likes you."
"What?" Jaehyun frowned, didn't understand what's going on yet. Jibeom closed his eyes briefly in resignation. Sometimes Jaehyun was slow but it's adorable. Now he wished Jaehyun wasn't that slow so he didn't have to explain everything with his own mouth.
"I found out a while ago. He watched our show and he said he likes your voice and he thinks you're cute." Jibeom said with gritted teeth.
Jibeom couldn't be more annoyed when the confusion on Jaehyun's face morphed into a excited one.
"Really? He likes me? He's my fan??"
"Jaehyun-ah!" He couldn't help but raising his voice. "Are you serious?"
"You asked am I serious? So is it my fault that your friend likes me more than you?" Jaehyun complained while flailing his arms. "Are you jealous? Jibeom-ah! I don't know you're this kind of person!"
Jibeom gaped for exactly 3 seconds before he face palmed and groaned.
"Jaehyun-ah," He moaned.
"What?" Jaehyun challenged.
With final resolution, Jibeom grabbed Jaehyun's shoulders and stared right into his eyes.
"Yes, I'm jealous!" He said harshly.
"See! You're impossibe-"
"Listen to me," He cut Jaehyun off. "I'm jealous.. but not because of what you're thinking."
Jaehyun blinked. "Then.. what-"
Jibeom shifted his weight on his other leg. "My friend Jinyoung, he's handsome, he's smart, he's rich, he's in military now and he received medal for his great achievement. He's perfect-"
Jaehyun's eyes went as round as saucers as he talked. "S-so.. So you..." Jaehyun stuttered. "Y-you like him?"
Then it was silent.
Jibeom's mouth hang open and his eyes blinked rapidly. What was Jaehyun... He's totally speechless. His grip on Jaehyun's arm loosened and his hands fell limply on his side.
"The other members said I'm way too obvious," He said slowly. "The fans talked about how I stare at you longer than I should be, how I smile like a fool when you do cute things, how I always look at you when I shouldn't have to. They know... and you don't know?"
There's no way Jaehyun didn't understand, and he knew Jaehyun knew what he meant. The man bit his lips, and his ears adorably turned pinkish.
"Jinyoung asked for you number, but I didn't give it to him. Because I don't want him to get near to you."
Jaehyun glanced at him before ducking his head down.
"But if you want to, I'll give your number to him."
It happened so fast. Jaehyun hugged him, and he stumbled back. His bag thankfully was like a cushion so his back and head didn't hit the wall.
"You idiot."
Jaehyun's husky voice was muffled as the man buried his head on his jacket. Jibeom felt his body felt warm and his heart skipped a bit when Jaehyun hugged him like that. His skin tingled and he could smell Jaehyun's expensive shampoo.
"W-why?" He stammered.
Jaehyun mumbled something he couldn't catch so he asked again.
"What?"
Jaehyun finally release him. Jaehyun's lips trembled while smiling brilliantly.
"If you like someone then shouldn't you confess instead of being jealous?"
That was a positive signal, but it was still nervewrecking. What if he misunderstand? Jibeom bit his dry lips.
"Will you say yes?"
Jaehyun pursed his lips because he didn't get what he wanted right away.
"You should ask first if you want an answer."
Jibeom chuckled nervously. He pinched Jaehyun's cheek because he just couldn't help it.
"I like you," He said, caressing the area he pinched earlier. "I had been for some time. I'm sorry I lashed on you-"
Jaehyun surprised him by pecking his lips, successfully left him froze. It was a very light and short lips against lips, but the impact was huge. Jibeom thought he's having brain freeze.
Jaehyun, being the random, mischievous man he was, giggled although he looked shy as well.
"I like you too, so you don't have to worry, and stop being jealous," Jaehyun chuckled, while his legs shifted nervously.
Jaehyun looked extremely cute with his cheekbones popping out when smiling, the the soft husky voice he used to talk to him made his stomach twisted in a nice way.
This time it's him who leaned forward and dropped a brief kiss on Jaehyun's lips. He used a bit too much force than intended, making Jaehyin's head pushed back. The older man was surprised, and masked his embarrassment by pushing him playfully. Jibeom laughed and reach out to hold Jaehyun's hand. Jaehyun held his hand back.
For a while, they just stood there quietly, enjoying the bubble of happiness. Jibeom felt a huge weight was lifted from his shoulders, and after 2 weeks, he finally could breathe easy.
"So..." Jaehyun finally broke the silence. He still had smile on his face. "Are you going to introduce me to your friend Jinyoung?"
Jibeom chuckled. "No, never."
*
"I'm sorry, Jinyoungie," He said.
He heard Jinyoung chuckled. "Hey, that's fine. I'm kind of suspected it, since you're acting strange, and your expression was quite obvious."
"Is that so.."
Jinyoung laughed and Jibeom rolled over to lie on his back. He's currently on Jaehyun's bed. "Yeah, you're doing oretty good in your sitcom, but in real life, you're just like an open book."
"So I guess everyone knows," Jibeom grimaced.
"If everyone means Taewoo, Inseong and Youngmin, then yes, they have suspicions."
"Great," He groaned. "I guess I'll be bullied on group chat soon."
"Introduce me to your boyfriend then, I won't share the details to them."
Jibeom frowned. "No thanks. I'll just send you his photo and signature."
Jinyoung laughed. "Be prepared to be a laughing stock then."
Jibeom laughed as well. He knew Jinyoung so well to know the man was just joking. "Alright. See you around. Take care."
"Yeah, you too."
Jaehyun walked into their room right after he put his phone down.
"Jibeom-aaahhh.."
Jibeom's face brightened as he followed Jaehyun with his eyes. His boyfriend had just came back from a date with his mom, and looked adorable with his pink beanie.
Jaehyun put his bag carelessly on Youngtaek's bag and jump to the bed and snuggled next to him.
"Youngtaek hyung would be mad if you put your bag on his bed," He commented, but his arm pulled the older man closer.
"Yeah, but he wouldn't know because he's not here," Jaehyun giggled.
Jaehyun's giggle was infectious. Jibeom found himself laughing as well. He raked his eyes on Jaehyun's face.
"You're a troublemaker," He teased the man.
Jaehyun just cheekily smiled and snuggled on Jibeom's chest. Although Jibeom was lazy to exercise, his body was fit and sturdy. It's warm too.
Out of the blue, Jibeom started to hum a song. It's a familiar song but Jaehyun couldn't remember the title. The vibration on Jibeom's chest made him laughed. It tickled.
"What are you laughing?"Jibeom asked.
"No, it's just.. It tickles because you're sing-" Jaehyun stopped mid sentence because when he looked up, he was greeted with Jibeom's face.
It's actually not the face which made him swallowed his words back. It's Jibeom's eyes.
Jibeom's eyes were asymmetrical, but the way both eyes looked at him made him feel like he's the most loved person in the world. The way they light up when they're staring at him, it was as if he's the only one who mattered, the one who could make Jibeom happy.
It was a weird, but a great feeling.
"Is there something on my face?" Jibeom asked after seeing him frozen.
Jibeom's question woke him up from his thought. He smiled and shook his head. "Nothing. You're just handsome."
He gave Jibeom his sweetest smile before his boyfriend tackled him and demanded him to tell the truth.
Jaehyun wondered if Jibeom could tell from his eyes how much he loved the man too.
