Can't believe I not only created a tag for this ship, but also added Kurumi to the fandom's tags. This is a honor, to be honest.

Work Text:

Haruna had been waiting for Kurumi to arrive at the bus station for several minutes. The sun was shining brightly, and the birds were singing around, creating a lovely environment. Haruna smiled and turned her face to the sun, her eyes closed. She wanted to enjoy its warmth to the fullest.

She heard approaching footsteps. Kurumi's face greeted her as she opened her eyes. She could see the gleam in her classmate's eyes because they were so near to one another. Kurumi had a pleasant smile on his face. The smile caused Haruna's heart to skip a beat.

"Did I manage to surprise you?" Kurumi proudly raised her head, her hands on her waist.

Kurumi was finally taller than Haruna, now that she was sitting on the bench. This image amused Haruna so much that she couldn't help but smile.

"You're late, Kurumi-san! It's not good to be late for your own meetings," Haruna began the talk with a lecture, as she often did.

Kurumi didn't want to hear this on her day off, so she grabbed Haruna's hand and dragged her to the amusement park. Haruna let out a loud yelp in response to the unexpected movement, but fell silent, allowing the girl to take the lead. She should finally relax as they had come here for a vacation. She could read lectures at any other time if she wanted to, but not now.

The amusement park was enormous. They'd been here before with other Lyrical Lily members, but they weren't able to see everything. As a result, Kurumi insisted on going back to view the places they had missed the first time.

Haruna was baffled as to why she was the only one who had been invited. It's bothered her ever since Kurumi invited her. Kurumi is known for her pranks, and Haruna is her favorite victim, so there's no way this visit will go well. Despite this, Haruna planned to make the most of the day while remaining careful in case Kurumi attempted to play a joke on her. She is not going to lose to her this time.

Haruna was so absorbed in her thoughts that she missed their arrival at the haunted house. Kurumi grabbed her hand and prevented her from turning around and running.

Ah, yes.

Their hands.

Kurumi was still holding her hand.

"Don't be so anxious! If you're scared, you can take my hand." She grinned and offered her hand to Haruna. "I will protect you," she said afterwards.

She wasn't going to be tricked that easily. She accepted the invitation with a bold step, taking Kurumi's hand in hers and linking their fingers together.

If she had looked back, she would have noticed a tiny blush on Kurumi's cheeks.

It was a disaster. Haruna screamed almost every minute, even when nothing was happening. It seemed that any rustle could make her faint. She clung to Kurumi at one point and didn't let go until the very exit. When she realized what she had done, she jumped to the side and safely pretended that nothing had happened. Kurumi gave Haruna a cold tea as a gift for her (failed) bravery.

The carousel with horses was their next stop. Haruna was delighted. Finally, something calming.

Kurumi's small stature made it difficult for her to climb the horse, so Haruna had to support her. Kurumi tried to play it cool but she was clearly pouting. Haruna found it to be really adorable.

She followed her and climbed up to her; they were now so close that she could feel Kurumi's back against her chest.

"You've got to hold on to something."

Haruna couldn't think of anything better to do but cover Kurumi's hand, which was resting on the horse's head. Such a touch sent shivers down Kurumi's spine for some reason.

They went on to see a few more attractions after that. Haruna was still expecting a trick, but it didn't come. Everything seemed a little too...calm? Something was clearly waiting for her.

Kurumi let Haruna choose where they should go at the end of the day. Haruna decided that going to the Ferris wheel would be a great idea.

"How boring," Kurumi muttered dramatically, expressing her disappointment, but she didn't object. She took Haruna's hand in hers yet again and led them to the line.

Haruna realized that holding Kurumi's hand wasn't so terrible after all.

As they entered the cab, the sun began to drop, providing them with a breathtaking view of the city. The whole sky was painted in yellow and red colours. It was impossible to look away from it. Even Kurumi, who had been hesitant to come here at first, couldn't keep her eyes away from the beautiful sunset. Her eyes were literally sparkling. Kurumi was aware of a curious stare directed at her, but she did not turn around. She was too busy. That's something she can tease Haruna about later.

They walked home in complete silence. But it was a comfortable silence. Haruna was taken aback (not for the first time that day) by Kurumi's calm attitude today. She was used to Kurumi wreaking havoc around her. After all, she was still their academy's most famous prankster–

Oh, my goodness. She's clearly planning something. Kurumi purposefully behaved well throughout the day so that she could drop a bomb on her at the end. There's no way a girl like Kurumi doesn't have some aces up her sleeve. Haruna lost track of time and let her guard down.

She needs to pull herself together.

They both stopped when they reached Haruna's home (Kurumi kindly offered to accompany her).

Kurumi stared at her for a while. Haruna felt embarrassed by the attention she was receiving. She was ready to say goodbye when it hit her.

This is similar to the movie scenes where lovers say their goodbyes after a date. Is this the reason Kurumi refuses to leave? Is she planning to surprise her with a kiss?

No, she couldn't allow that to happen. She'll do it herself.

Haruna did not hesitate and quickly walked over to Kurumi and left a light kiss on the girl's cheek. This caused Kurumi to freeze.

When Kurumi regained consciousness, she looked at Haruna's happy expression and—

"I won!"

What?

"I've been expecting something like this for the entire walk, but I'm surprised it took you this long. I'm sure you wanted to catch me off guard, like you usually do, but I beat you to it this time! I won this round. "

What? Had she been expecting this all along? Did Haruna really think that Kurumi would kiss her? So she considered their entire walk to be a date ?

Kurumi was surprised to say the least. She had no intention of kissing Haruna. She did, however, wish to make fun of Haruna for staring at her on the vision wheel earlier. But, now that she is aware of Haruna's true feelings…

Kurumi came up with another great idea!

"Do you like me, Haruna-chan?" Haruna froze after hearing these words. Her cheeks reddened.

"W-what do you mean?"

"A lady like you would never kiss someone she didn't like. It means that you like me! " Haruna's face began to show obvious signs of panic. Oh, how Kurumi enjoyed teasing her.

Kurumi slowly backed away. Haruna was muttering something to herself, waving her arms in different directions.

"Haruna has feelings for me ? I need to tell the others immediately "

"Kurumi-san, wait—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Kurumi had already run off in the direction of her house. Haruna was shouting something, but Kurumi couldn't hear it.

As soon as she was far enough away, she stopped and sat down on the floor to catch her breath. When she realized what had just happened, she covered her face with her hands and squealed.

She never thought that her first kiss would be with Haruna.
